The whole galaxy forge thing is pretty cool but it is kind of annoying how the player has to individually go to https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?libid=70&cat=General to find and download the map. In the next patch could you please incl

I’d like to see a renovated diplomacy system in Sins that includes a bartering ability. So that way you could trade metal, crystal, or credits to another player securely. Right now one of you has to give a resource on good will and then hope the other player fulfills his part of the bargain. I’d also like the player to be able to inform the AI who he is allied with, ask for time extensions on missions, ask the AI player to make peace with a specific faction, and be able to make a long term alli

[quote] Ok... first off, you use different type of fighters for different roles. Look at the US military... they are trying to streamline their inventory with the f35b. A single fighter aircraft to fit all roles. That makes the need to have 3 types of fighters obsolete, and it is the way ANY military would want it. The larger ships have the more important task of planetary defense and attack while fighters defend against bombers... Why would you need 3 types of fighters? Cool factor

[Quote]The AI doesn't know you are allied with this other faction just like you don't know who he is allied with. He just knows that he wants them taken out, preferably by you. Sins is a good game and I love the scale and the battles. The interface is well done and easy to manage and fleets are easy to control and maintain. There are two areas that I think Sins could improve in after playing several games. 1. Diplomacy: The current diplomacy in Sins is very one dimensional and lacks any real control on the players part which I find annoying. The mission based system for building favor really doesn’t bother me except for when it gives me unrealistic time frames

Maybe not boarding in the traditional since that a group of soldiers blasts their way around the ship but maybe a similar tactic could fit in Sins. I would be warm to the idea of having a computer virus that could infect a vessel and perhaps make it fire at friendly ships or something of that nature.

I had envisioned only the flagship being customizable just this one ship. I didn’t mean to imply or suggest it would be like the super star destroyer executor but just a graphically different looking capital ship that would be the flagship for your empire. I realize this game is going to be real time so I know a complex in-depth ship design system was out of the question. This in my opinion would just add more player involvement kind of like naming fleets.

I’ve been keeping my eye on this game for a while now and I’m looking forward to buying it baring any major calamities. Although I did want to pitch a few ideas at the devs but after doing some searching other people have brought up most of my concerns/ideas already except for one. Now I know the ships for the three factions are going to be standardized although you will be able to research new weapons and all that jazz. I think it would be cool if you could create a flagship for your empire’s f
