I thought I should get back to you guys on this in case you still have an open bug on it. It looks like it was, in fact, the video drivers. Apple's driver updater, for whatever reason, did not detect my Boot Camp beta video driver as older than the latest driver release. Forcing an install on the latest drivers resulted in the expected appearance of the texture with no corruption. Since then I've shifted back to XP as well, and it's a notable improvement.

I've tried playing this on my MacBook Pro under Vista (Radeon Mobile X1600) and have been unable to get past the incredibly broken skybox textures--clearly there's some weirdness going on, as I've recognized strangely transformed versions of icons overlaid on the skybox, giant magenta swathes (as in pure #FF0), strangely chopped up textures, all sorts of distracting annoyances. Is there anything I can do to help get this fixed? I can provide screenshots if needed. Drivers are all up-t
