I think impulse is a great idea(try loading you other d\l games after you hdd burps and see what that does for your lifeforce time spent;-)LOL... It took less time to get impluse and my 5 games(count 'em 5) back up and running than winxppro with sp2 to 3 and my drivers from my mobo and vido card.... And I CAN run SoaSE w\o impulse...but I'll let the CEO guy tell you how(if he chooses).... remember the door to Moria in LOTR??? give it some thought;-)....</p

mods problems(or i want my special races back!) in Sins of a Solar Empire Stardock Forums

Hi people....i l need some advice.My system crashed and with it went my SoaSE version with the great mod seven deadly sins 1.03c..... Now my system doesn't seem to have a local files as required to load mods with.... now 7deadly sins mods(new players,planets,goodies,etc)when my window version doesn't have a local files setting for the file path as shown in the mods section for version 1.05.My system crashed and in re-installing i noticed this lack of

I have one question.....will seven deadly sins mod work in this current version???? Having a increase in races to choose from goes a long way in keeping the games fresh for those of us who prefer solo play to getting into multi-player action. Any thoughts?

One quick question(perhaps)i bought SoSE at Stardock and D\L and it ran fine... Upgraded to version 1.04 and still great,added 7seven dealy sins mods and STILL ran great. Added beta version(current) and it crashed andlocked up XP Pro sp2. Deleated game,reinstalled impulse, D\L currrent version w\o beta. Ran fine. Added beta version...still works. I agree with U using impulse to give those who PAID for thie games relief in not have to hear how "little boy hacker hotshot" using torrent got the latest version "free".That bites! Is Impulse perfect? Nope(i cussed out Stardock with first version)but it improves with time(like some girls i know).And the fact that if I messup or my system crashes i can STILL get my games back in short order. I like to see Stardock match up with some music sites i know of that might work to the benefit of

Just a note.... Enjoy Sins in single player mode. Having problems installing Beta for Sins as well as GC update(tried numerous times)disabled anti-vir.prog.,checked IE(i normally use FFox)D\L archiving.Loads 100% then says that it has problems installimg same.Using Stardock and Impulse(latest versions)re-installed games,Impulse and Stardock all to no avail.D\L My Colors and it runs with no problem whatsoever.
