Plus, that myth of DRM of being logged in at all times is bogus. There's that whole "play offline thing." If you want to play multiplayer, then you need to be logged in but Blizzard stated that there will be an "offline" mode for those who wish to play offline... Quote from Rob Pardo: "You don't technically have to (login), but you'll want to. You can play in offline mode if you want - I just don't think you're going to want to. You'll be giving up lots and lots

Congrats, it's tough to stay #1 though.. I've been enjoying the beta but my internet has practically crapped out for the past couple of days. (400-600ping and a whopping 1mbs max download speed) Stupid storms.. Anyway, zapping away with the Terran.. It seems to be pretty sweet.

No one likes being ranked 1,999,999 of 2,000,000 people. I'm pretty sure it's to help people out and say "you're rank 199,999 of 200,000 of the copper league. Looks a little better really...

So I have a shameless question of asking if anyone has a spare beta key that they're willing to part with and send a PM my way. I've been a huge fan of Starcraft since it came out and it would appear that none of my friends have gotten into the beta to share a key. I'd love to be able to report on the balance of the game with true patch notes and get a feel for the eb and flow of the mechanics. So if you're willing to part with Beta key to a co

I would say that more planets equals faster research. I suppose there could be a scale system for the techs per galaxy size but thats just an idea. I'm not sure how feasible that would be. Like, normal galaxy normal tech speed, tech = 100 pts, large galaxy normal tech speed, tech = 200 pts, Immense = 500 pts. Or something along those lines.

Does the approval rating do anything against those revolts with the factions breakin up your empire while playing evil? Because i've always tried to keep it around 75%,I play evil (not that evil eh?) and those revolts have no impact on my empire and nothing ever splinters. But thats just what I noticed, not sure on if it impacts or not, but thats my 2 cents.

I think he's German. As AI has a differnt meaning to them. I just noticed how he spelled his name and "Tactick" has a k. I forget what they use for their Artificial Intelligence, but it's not AI.

Double check their AI, even if you click tough, that doesn't mean they're all set to the same AI strength. Double check it. (I know I was always kicking the Thalan's butt because of this.

I usually have 1 farm per Class >10 planet as 17 billion people is a ton of cash with a tax at 60ish and to keep moral at 100% a moral building. It's effective and you don't need to worry about population in a war. Plus it's added defense if the A.I. gets through to a planet. (And I do play Painful) Added note, thats with researching Xeno farming and the likes because it is useful for how
