Hope this has not been posted before, the review is some days old. My favourite German Game Site, www.4players.de, gave sins 84/100 points. For this site, this is quite good! In my opinion, they have the best reviews on the german market. The review contains over three pages and is quite well written; including an "review" of buying sins online. Unfortunately, they had problems while buying - fortunately, the support was quick to help. Link for those who speak German: http://www.4play

Germany..love the beer ;-)
Thank you for your offer!! But I have played around with this for hours while trying to get SupCom running. I also wrote to the manufacturer, and it seems it cannot be changed, not even with the newest firmware. At this point I gave up. SupCom was not to great anyway (Performance...). But I shall not let a simple :-/ router stand between me and Sins, I will get a new one later today..
I am having the same problems...frustrating :-/. Mostly it is the same as mentioned above, I am "Migrating" and everybody else is "Disconnected". So, if i understand this correctly, this can happen if the host quits and nobody else is a suitable host? That said, if I am able to host a game, this error should not happen as long as I am in a game, because the host-function can migrate to my computer?! Unfortunately, I am unable to host a game, despite correct port forwarding. I had s
[quote] I'd like to suggest that in addition to there current effects that PJI's also slow the movement speed of of enemy fleets in the phase lane. E.g., if you jump within the range of an enemy PJI your phase lane movement is slowed by X percent. This would effectively give advantage to the defenders strategic movement of defensive fleets in his/her own territory. My concern here is that if you have a system with a defensive fleet and someone bypasses it giving
I agree that defense should only buy you some time, so I think that the power of the defense systems is ok as it is now. But, I also agree that a) It would be better if Phase Jump Inhibitors were more effective, so that an enemy fleet cannot just bypass my front line planets which are supposed to give me some time to bring in my fleet and b) that the fleet cap limit should scale with map size or something
You have to research "Long Range Jumps" or something like this; then you can jump to other stars the same way you can travel to other plantes..
Publisher or not; I will purchase the game online anyway - living in the euro-zone makes buying via stardock central a real bargain at the moment. Everything is 50% cheaper as it used to be :-) (and yes... there are some more people in Germany who are interested in sins)
