I simply wanted to let SD & IC know that Sins is featured in this weeks PC Gaming Accessories & Bestsellers email along with WoW:WotLK, Spore and WoG. [e digicons]:andrew:[/e]
Spartan
It would be nice and they could include some special GoTY stuff like an exclusive theme, units or item.
Good stuff! Congrats SD/IC.
Well, Blair and Craig did get a mention in his description.. I was really kinda hoping they'd get on the list themselves (I nominated them as a single deal, can't really split them up, you know ), but instead we got a game tester who looks like a habitual drunk and an EA guy who looks like he's high.
Yeah I did as well. Well maybe next year after all the x-packs are out and people know them more. [e digicons]:andrew:[/e]
As to the OP - box is not going to happen. It's a $10 product. Throw in printing updated manuals, manufacturing discs, packaging boxes, trying to get shelf place in a retailer, and they probably pay about as much per box as it sells for. Some thinking before you post would do good
QFT [e digicons]:banhammer:[/e] When all three micro x-packs are done then a box edition will come out.
Karma given and thanks for the link. I did not read it yet. I must remember to visits wikis more often.
Cool nice find! [e digicons]k1[/e] next time you post in this thread.
Business is business and Impulse could use the title base to be sure. Moreover one man's treasure is another's trash. Additionally one must consider that EA has acquired some great developers such as BW and I doubt anyone would call BW titles "crappy". The bottom line to give gamers a choice in how, what and where they purchase their titles. Currently Impulse is the best DD system out there but it is not well known.
BTW: It just went on sale on Steam without SuckRom. However if you happen to live outside of NA you cant buy it - for now. I'm told EA/BW are working on getting the geopolitical restriction removed.
Where is WOW
It was recently released, maybe the sales numbers are not in yet.
Woozers! Talk about over simplification.... [e digicons]8|[/e] I think Impulse has had a chance since it started to be frank. Let's give credit where credit is due. The success of Impulse is not determined solely based on Valve's actions or errors as the case may be.
@Anna - I think a thread for hardcoded changes only is exactly what is needed. Ahhh.... Sadly I guess I have to give you yet more karma. This is especially so if you are going to actively maintain it.
The game you're talking about is I've Found Her, and it's hardly "shit". It's 100% faithful to the series, which is why it's not a simple Wing Commander clone, but has newtonian physics. Not everyone can handle Newton, but that doesn't make it "bad". And it's not called "Shooter". It's called Space Sim, a subgenre of Flight Sims.
Ummm... Wow a hostile response. WTF?? Lets not attempt to insult peoples intelligence
How odd... I actually played, for about 30 minutes, a StarFury game. I think I got it from a Babylon multimedia media disk or maybe downloaded it. It was so long ago and unremarkable that I can quite remember. It may very well have been unlicensed that would go far in explaining the shit thing that is was. If memory serves is was almost identical to the recent BSG viper shooter released several months ago. When I played it reminded me of it clearly. Nonetheless I think for IC to do so
It's almost unfair to compare TA to other expansion packs, it's very nearly a sequel. Congrats to Stardock.
That was my point about being the standard by which all future x-packs should be judged by. [e digicons]:borg:[/e]
I had a BSoD but I think it was video driver related given the nvXX.dll showed on the bottom of the screen during the system memory dumb. [e digicons]x_x[/e]
IGN also forgot to mention that it cost less than $1 million to develop, took on a totally new idea and name (didn't have a franchise to lean to), and yet earned them a good share. It didn't have DRM, and neither did it whine about piracy.
Those are key points that I wish IC and or SD will emphasize with any follow-up interviews or articles on all the awards. It is sad with all the awards action going on that such things are not e
I expect the c omplete collection edition when published to be named "The Original Sin" box! [e digicons]:-"[/e]
Pure unadulterated 100% distilled (locally canned) awesome sauce! [e digicons]5*[/e] [e digicons]\o/[/e]
Look before you speak -- some of us still show up now and again.
Word - brotherman Ron. [e digicons]:frogboy:[/e]
Lol don't refer to GC2 when you mean GalCiv2 And yeah, brilliant... Stardock got only 2 titles in top 10?
Yeah, but that is because it only released two titles this year! [e digicons]:andrew:[/e]
Great stuff to be sure. I can wait to see the website updated with all the awards; soon I hope!!! [e digicons]B)[/e]
More fair? The hell if it is. Now those who actually do well on this have a lower chance, and others who did poorly have a greater chance. How is that fair? Are you a socialist?
[e digicons]:omg:[/e] [e digicons]o_O[/e] [e digicons]8C[/e] [e digicons][/e] [e digicons]:borg:[/e] [e digicons]:banhammer:[/e]
Woot! [e digicons]\o/[/e]
I really wish SD or IC would promote these customer focused selection processes in the News section of the site. SD should also do it on its other game and community sites.
