No doubt. Politics as always... [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e]
updated Sorry for the delay for the Distant Star mod. I missed the PM somehow.
Update: Sadly Sins did not get an Academy award. It is distressing that RE3 got it however. Sadly enough I think this was so because of the high profile actors involved in the production of the title.
I use UM with WB and have no issues.
A minor update: The new dev team is getting organized right now. So if anyone wants to get involved now is the time.
We have a thread for it in the mod section here . The official forums are here . [e digicons]:cylon:[/e]
I for one would love to see SD &IC get a licenses for any of the major SciFi franchises for the second Sins x-pack after Entrenchment is finished. Who knows with all the glory Sins got this year as well as fame for SD and Frogboy in particular maybe SD/IC might have enough juice to get one if they tried. I would start with Ron Moore and BSG since it is the smallest and most likely to take a chance (not that the others have not wasted licenses in the past to begin with). Moreover the othe
Damn it - beat me again. Oh well you did not get my other ones! [e digicons]:andrew:[/e]
Well Joystiq has recently published a story on the x-pack for Sins via Bigdownload. Would you like to know more? Then follow the link. [e digicons]:jafo:[/e]
@Craig - you guys should picts of the Sins team in front of the award wall when you get them all. [e digicons]:andrew:[/e]
Sins are the way! After all we are all just sinners anyway... [e digicons]O:)[/e]
Thanks. And no worries, Sins should win. The comp was marginal in almost all other awards that I know of. So it would stand to reason that Sins should take this one unless the academy has different standards than the other industry awards that are not publicly known.
Well... I was hoping for more award selections for Sins from the AIAS but Sins was nominated for only one award. The nomination for Sins was of course for the Strategy/Simulation Game of the Year award. Given the competition and the track record for Sins this year with awards, I'll risk going on record and proclaim Sins as the winner now. [e digicons]:banhammer:[/e] The AIAS awards are pretty much the most coveted awards for the industry from a professional stand
As far as I'm concerned they should simply shitcan the 32b version of W7 and go native 64b only.
Good stuff - thanks for the link!
Wow! News update... Sins is listed on Amazon's main CE page now - Sweetness!
OK.I don’t know anything about Solar Empire Files. So I'm lost... Anyway, no worries I just sent you FTP login info for my backbone server on FP so you could UL directly without my intervention at your leisure. In any case, I wish you success with your endeavor.
The ModDB page is our primary DL source.
Did you get my last PM? You have not responded to it yet.
I'm a little, given the few reviews that are posted on Amazon to be frank.
@Always! Nice post. [e digicons]k1[/e] karma given.
More kudos for Sins. It was recently ranked as number six (in an email from Amazon) as one of the top 10 best PC on Amazon.com for 2008! The website shows the titles as none ranked however. Would you like to know more? If so follow the link. [e digicons]:andrew:[/e]
Yet more accolades for Sins it seems. Sins was named the "Best Incredibly Complicated Simulation". Wow, just wow... Eat your heart out Wil! [e digicons][/e]
Hmm.. Contrary to your opinion I directed no insulting comment towards you. Based on what you posted I got the impression you did not try very hard to find out what the issue was with the servers then vented inappropriately like a child. There was about a dozen threads on the forums regarding the server issue and even a general forum message. They were not easy to miss at least in my case. Additionally, having just as much respect for SD as the next guy, does not entail going into its
