@Orkimond - Thanks man. Shoot show some karma love brother. It will be eventually be good for something methinks. @BoogieBac - No problem. I come across the stuff while doing work for clients. Hell I used to be able to post in the news section all the time but since the forum update I can anymore. I guess I'm just not worthy. Anyway, I came across a few more but I have not had time to check them out yet. I have to jet to the hospital my son is getting out of surgery soon. I'll post t

Wow it looks like it might be a sweep in the Congress for blue as well - cool beans. It also appears Obama will in fact go into super majority area and beyond. Woohoo!!! He is owning in the key States, minus Montana - but by a hair. He should be able to pull it off however. Sadly, you just knew the South was going to spoil the party.

For what it is worth, I believe Frogboy to be a gamer first and foremost then a businessman. He is one of those lucky few that gets to make money doing what he loves. So I consider his opinion to be a solid mix or balanced view from both sides of the gallery.
I'm a bit concerened by the system requirements saying "64-bit may not be supported." Yeah, that's a misprint. We're actually putting some serious effort into a 64-bit version that allows for some crazy-huge maps
I knew I blew over $15k on a 64b Godbox for a reason other then a FPS and RT4X title. Bring it on baby! Bring it on...

We know Obama will win it is only a question of by how much. If it is a narrow victory the "death card" will be played for sure. Personally I expect him to exceed 320 EVs and I think he has a good chance of getting 350+ to put him in the super majority area. The NYT has a great dashboard for the results, You can get it here .
No, please no. While I like some of the games they'd made (haven't got one of their newers) the AI and polishing in their game is often very bad. Lots of bugs and braindead AI make their (gameplay wise very good games) not much fun for me in the long term.
Well I think EUR and the new VV x-pack are pretty damn good. Additionally I still love CK despite it short comings. It is simply an awesome game. I figured the

No doubt. That is why I only purcahse music from Amazon and I refuse to buy any more game titles with BS DRM on them. BTW: If you want tunes from Amazon just sign up for an account on the US site and you should be able to get the music.
Earlier this year, Swedish developer/publisher Paradox, probably the game company most analogous to Stardock (complete with its own proprietary digital download store), announced that it would publish (though not develop) Majesty 2 next year. I believe the developer is a Russian company, And speaking of Swedish developers, when reading the Gamespy description of the channeler, was anyone else reminded of the pretender god of Do

@Alfonse - That is an interesting point. Sadly enough I never played MtG but many of my firends did. On a side note, I have been haunted by thoughts of LA coming after SD for the game handle being very close to "ewok" since I read the name the first time. I was so hoping they would come up with somthing for "dad". [e digicons]:digichet:[/e]

It would only become a real option if Google stepped up with money truck. Who knows maybe one of those writers might pick up on the idea and run with it and just maybe Google might take an interest and so might SD and the others.

I really like the artistic style as well. As I posted in the other thread, it has that 70's fantasy graphic art pen and ink visual quality to it. A very elegant touch if done right to be sure - at least for an old timer like myself. It puts me in mind of the images of Alan Lee, Darrell Sweet & John Howe.

Damn. A lot threads on Elemental or EWoM. I think they should all be merged into Frogboy's official thread.

The fact it is based on the Silmarillion has me really stoked for it to be honest. It was one of my favorite stories as a child - along with all the other JRRT stuff. I'm a big head on graphics but to be honest game play will always win the day. Let's hope it really rocks. I so miss MoM, MoO & SimC.
