When I attack a stack of ships I always have to attack the most powerfull ships\fleets first. When the AI attacks me they attack the undefended ships first, then ships with weapons, then fleets. Doesn't seem fair to me. It would be more realistic if it was random, you always want to attack undefended ships but the weaponized ships would always try to respond and make you fight them first. I would rather it be standard, either way, as everything else in GC2 is going for equality so shou

I am seeing no difference between Droid Sentries 2 and Droid Sentries 3. They are the same size, same cost, same defense. size: 5, cost: 100, def: 6 I have up to ultimate miniaturization.
its in the game options section
I agree. Please change it.

K I know the developers said that less than 5% of people are still getting crashes. Well that was 6 versions/updates ago and I'm still getting a random crash every single time I play. Some times I get to play for hours, some times minutes. I've up'd my virtual memory so that I start at 2G and max out at 5G. This is a new machine and the same thing happens on my other PC so I'm starting to wonder if maybe it's not such a small percentage of people <
Influence resources: I don't know, I don't think they're too over powered. On my last game gigantic/crippling, I was able to get 2 influence resources reletivly early in the game and I didn't win by influence victory. However, I slow played the influence resources and ran into a galgactic condition that lowered the effect of influence. On another note, I hate the Yor. How is it that they can play the planet grab game ju
I agree, I think you should get techs when civ's revolt.
I usually play diplomatic/infulence games and don't build any millitary until I have to. I was wondering how you guys build your planets and what your strategy is. As I'm trying to push for planets at the begining of the game I always buy my starport first and then lay the rest of these in order while maximizing tile bonuses: Factory, Bank, Bank, Factory, Research, Research, Entertainment, Farm, Influence. This doesn't work on smaller planets,
3. Think of the old Amiga game Star Control 2 where you steered your space craft in duel and throttled around a planet, which floated in 3D against the star backround. You should be able to travel continously like this in the 2D map, accross the really really vast distances, and of course delicously faster with new techs. May this be turn based, fine. Yeah, I don't know I don't think we're saying what you're seeing is real
Yeah, I know about the resize tool. I don't know I always think of the cell phone or pc as an example; the first iterations were big and bulky, the size of a room, and yes, "cooler" looking. Now we have pocket pc's that are also cell phones, cameras and music players; they also look pretty plain/sleek. The ship engines for example, I was sure somebody got it wrong and mixed up the graphics. I guess I'll just mod it and reverse the "fluff" <
sure they're not in a fleet together?
Why is it when you get the newest, greatest engine or what ever and the guy says, "it doesn't go faster but we made it smaller so it takes less space your ships". Why are the graphics bigger. It doesn't make sense. They say they made "warp engines 2" smaller than "warp engines 1" but "warp engines 2" looks bigger than "warp engines 1". I don't know, it just seems wrong to me.
You can just turn up the research speed when you create the new game. That way it won't take as long to get as advanced and you can diversify with less cost.
I like the focused idea. I was thinking they could just highlight the cell that is "focused" in the planet list window.

I've had that error before. One of the things I did was increase my virtual memory to some huge unGodly amount, like 5G. I haven't had that problem again.
I hate having to write my own html tags to get a new line/paragraph to happen
Done. The problem is something that happens intermittently and on different planets. It happens different ways, not just from the quick list but from the planet and from the planets spread sheet.

Is there any way to know what difficulty level you are currently playing at? I have heard a few people mention they would like to be able to see what their current score is in game, this would probably be a good place to display what is giving you that score, since difficulty is encorporated
I don't know if anyone has read this yet but the problem isn't happening all the time. It seems to be intermittent. It happens most often at the end of a turn while I am resolving the last few moves of an auto move.
I've read, but I don't remember where, that when the defence is the same type as the attack it counts against the attack directly/more directly. when the defence is of a different type it's like 1/10 or something
