I didn't realize the speed reduction was intended. Thanks for the help.
I tried to start a few games and noticed that my asteroid miners all go incredibly slow. While they start out with the a normal speed, their speed drops down to 1 after they have cunstructed a mine. I haven't seen this posted yet, but I am sending the save files now since it is easily reproducable. This is in TA 1.96
Hey, So I finally decided to play the Pre-made map "Epic" that comes with the game. I was excited to have a huge map with an even distribution of stars, but was disappointed to find out that every star system was exactly the same. One star per sector, one planet per star. Is there anyplace I can find a description or map of how all the pre-made maps look? Is there one for the scenarios? The in-game descriptions are very terse. Thanks for your help.
