An option for the game to only keep a certain number of autosaves would also be nice. I just finished playing my first games today and came back to nearly 3GB of saves (I know you said you haven't bothered with compressing the saves yet, but even taking that into account, I certainly don't need my past 50 saves lying around. 2-5 are plenty, imo. ) Wow...I hadn't even looked at that part yet. I looked only far enough to see how many autosaves there are.

Just look at the number of people in this thread who've come into it thinking that it was a bug! "This can't be right!" 4. When a race has been eliminated, it's influence should disappear, maybe not instantly, but it shouldn't stay there. I've found that you generally need to wait 30-60 seconds after the object has been scuttled before you're able to reclaim those logistics/tactical points. Started a new game (Actually, three of them, to see if this was a constant glitch) after the update the other night and now the computer seems to auto-place my research stations, hangers, etc. Is this intentional or a glitch? I can't say that I like this arraignment one bit.

Having only played my first game last night, and not having had a chance to play around that much yet - I am glad to see this thread. From my first impression, I didn't know that there were multiple stars in other games. I was very weird to me to have so many planets orbiting on star.
