Yes we (IPD Clan) are having a growing group and matches which are done and are ongoing. We are currently setting up an epic 4humans against 6 hard ai locked with 4 pirate bases. All our members will return and finish a game once started. Like this forum you can post a proposed match on which time and see if you get peeps in on it. I am bumming about this as well tbh. Spawning is completly random. I hoped (map editor) that player 0 player 1 player 2 etc would correspond to the slots ingame but nope. This limits the way you can make challeging team maps. Ofc I could be missing something but till now I didnt find a way out of the random spawn.

This IS NOT A GOOD GAME! Its simply the best game since a few years for me :) WTF I play with 3 humans against 5 hard AI locked. Hickups? Lag? Desync? CTD? Disconnects? Bugs? NOT ONCE! This bloody game owns so much I cant begin to comprehend it. Right now I am doing a 2 human coop against 3 hard locked AI with 2 pirate bases. OMG is all that I can say the joy and teamwork needed to smack the AI is simply not yet seen in an RTS.

Well the modded ai where better but they where never a challenge. The core unmoddable ai was just too weak. Only when the moded ai's started cheating they actually became somewhat more intresting. Small game on quad where ok but when u put 3-4 ai's in the game lag became almost unbearable every second taken 5-10 seconds real time. And I played it on a quad 2.6 mhz. Multi was ok if you liked 10-20 min fast super clicking games :) I liked spring much better tbh ;)

Craig I agree with all of em. One big issue remains. Is the AI challeging enough to have fun playing it. In beta 4 the AI is laughable. Nowhere there is a review rating or mentioning the new gamma AI. I know you have stated it has evolved much since the beta but still so many other gamedevs have said that as well and didnt deliver. I will haunt you if it sucks :) 2 days left before we know.

Ohhhhhh and the joy of being able to own a 64k mem commodore 64 and the tapes for loading games. 10 minutes loading and then the occasional LOAD ERROR For me it started with a pong like console then a Philips videopac/Ataris competitor in Europe. OMG the first floppy drive WOOT!!! SUMMER GAMES!!!! I still feel my wrist from turning the joystick hahaha. Good ol days for sure :) And btw Hi old fecks :)
