It does not increase how many choices of wings you can field. It changes the number of aircraft per wing.

Yes early game they are still dangerous but I am mid game now and just ignore them again. That or send a new cap ship to whatever zone they are raiding for a few easy lvls.
Playing on a medium map as the TEC with everything set to normal, and here are my impressions. Where you spend your resources is still important as well as having lots of refining (sp) and trading going on. The pirates are definitly a force to be reckoned with. As I understand it, it is based on # of planets controlled as well as how long the game has been going. In my mad rush to secure a defendable border I quickly gathered in 3 asteroids and a volcanic plane
Ordian, I am currently playing on a medium random map with a planet that gives 20% to trade and another that gives 25%. Even with both those gravity wells maxed out with trade structures, I still have to decide what I would rather have. As you get a bigger and bigger fleet, it becomes even more crucial. So what I guess I am saying is I love it so far! My only complaint, if you want to call it that, is pirates vs starbase. The pirates need a much b
I also played on a small map with the newest beta release. I agree that you really have to think about how you spend your resources especially early game. I was playing TEC against TEC on a random small map with all normal settings. At first I was a little frustrated with how slow the resources come in, but quickly I changed my mind and started to think more of how I should spend my paltry resources to be of the most advantage. After some run ins with the pira
After a little more play, the race I was beating on threw in the towel with atleast 3 planets left, but guessing it was 4 or more. He was not letting my scouts through so I went and paid him a visit with some friends, trying to convince him scouts were not a threat. Are they supposed to surrender that easily? Before I always had to beat down their last planet before they would give up. Even that seems silly as long as they have a way to colonize a new planet and s
I also played on a large Multi star system map, but as TEC. I agree about cash coming in at a very high rate while the crystal and ore were lagging behind. I really do like how the change to fleet logistics and capital ship research effect everything. Is there a way to lower the number of ships each trade center make? One of my bigger complaints is that you don't have to build trade ships, they just appear and quickly flood the map. I also think they shou
You have to upgrade to Entrenchment v1.02 and unzip the file to the 1.02 folder to get it to work, atleast that is what worked for me.
Ordian, This Mod is amazing, but what is more amazing to me is how fast you respond to people with problems, and still find time to do any modding. You must have your brain hard wired to the forums or something. All companies who think they have good customer service should be forced to read through this forum and see what it really is. Keep up the good work!
Ordian, I love this mod, I have been goofing around on the Huge Multi Star maps, and the only performance problem I have seen is ships moving in spurts as more and more ships come on line (guessing this is just my plague ridden non 64bit system.) I also like the idea of more strikecraft types. IMHO though they should do more damage and be easier to kill over all. What is more feared by a modern navy (for example) a lone destroyer coming at
Well I may just be blind, but I can not find the Phase Jump Inhibitor tech when I play the TEC using the Entrenchment version 1.4. Otherwise I love this mod so far, great work!
Hey manshooter, I was wondering if you could add the two newer sets of images to the top page? I read all the posts in this thread anyway, but when I show my friends the impressive work you are doing, they are not as patient as I am, and want to see the goodies right away. Keep up the good work!
