Well I dunno who else to say thanks to but if i've failed a name or two, consider it done now. As a 66 year ole puter person, some of the inner workings of a computer game are beyond me. I needed some help, came to the "source" and I'm very grateful. Now I can enjoy the demo and in time buy the game. THANKS ALL :CONGRAT: VB

Cheesenium, i'm up and running. The begining screen is still atad off, but I can bring it up to the center. Craig was a very big help. I got into the tutiorals and that 's where i'll start today. Looks nice and the music is great. thanks for your concern. Wonder if I should print out the manual. VB

Kryo, I can't find anywhere on my puter the "VideoIsWindowsedFalse to change. Looking in my whole hard drive. Took the demo down again then went looking. 1/2 screen again. First demo ever that I had a problem with. Thanks anyway you tried/so did I. VB

Cheesenium, I just downloaded it from the web site you suggested and it took all of 4 minutes. Same thing unfortunity I only got a 1/2 screen and couldn't work the menu. I'm gonna wait a while and try again in a week or so. I"ve never had this happen when I took down a demo before. Luck of the Irish, me thinks. VB

I've downloaded it twice from GameSpot and have a problem. When the intro is done, I only get a 1/2 screen at eh begining. I don't know what to do. The mouse doesn't work and i'm kida stuck. After almost 3 hours twice in downloading the demo, i'm still in the dark. Is there somewheres else that I can download the demo without haveing to join something, or should I wait for a while an try again? This is very confusing. I downloaded it from Gamespot and after almost 3 hours, ran it. Intro played well but the screen only showed half of the intro screen. I couldn't access the game (demo) at all and had to delete it. I'll try it again, but wondered why it didn't play after the intro played so well. I hope the demo is ok and not so quick to the internet that its screwed up. Oh well try again. Where else can I download it. What a pain for the HOURS it took to download. VB X-( X-( X-(

Will they post here somewheres when the demo does come out? Yup I like Civ 2 also. The demo on that sold me on it. But the hype that Sins has so far make me drull until the demo is released. Target has the game for $39.99, at least the Target in New Jersey has it. HOpe the demo is on its way here......... viperbob

I can't even get the demo to load after I do all the early picking of what and who I want to be. I bought my puter in April of 2004. Its a Intel P4, 2.8 GHz w/512MB DDR SDRAM at 333MHz. Where I may falter is in the video card, integrated intel extreme graphics 2 card, and the Intel Pro 100M Inegrated PCI NIC card areas. I do however have direct X 9.0 installed. Before I go out and buy the whole in-cha-la-da I should at least get the demo to work.
