Well. I am having Issues. I have copied over all the textures, Meshes, entity files for one of the planets Im trying to add, I have added both the entries in the GalaxyDef file, and added the entry to the Manifest, adding one to the appropriate numbers for planets, manifest entries orbital bodies, but, Im getting a Minidump. What I am trying to do is add the planets from the Maelstrom Mod to the Sacrafice of Angels 2 Mod...its not going well at all.

Wow...thats gonna be a pain in the ass. If the Manifests are just basically string files...has anyone coded up a Auto-Manifest Program?
Yeah, I know basic XML coding, I used to Mod for Star Wars Empire at War. Just a run down of what need to copy over from one mod to another would be awesome. :) What I know I need the Meshes and textures. Dont know about the Manifest files, Ill have to look at them. Im assuming that its just a list of strings for the engine file for easy finding...something like that. If, the Entities dont appear in the Manifest...will that cause a Crash Dump? Minidump r
As the title says, Im trying to take planets from one mod and then insert them into another, but, Im not too sure how I go about that. I know there is one Entity file, entries in the GalaxyDef File, but Im not sure what else I need to move across? Most of these planets come with their own abilities and I cant find those files. Can anyone lend me a hand, perhaps a quick guide on moving planets from one mod to another? Thanks in advance.
Hello all. First of all Id like to say that this MOD is brilliant. Always loved Star Trek and this MOD is great. I did have a few suggestions to add to the mod however. 1> Add the Sins Plus planets to the game. As this mod includes models for all the planets in the Sol System, it would be a great addition for Federation players and also allows for a greater diversity in the planets that are found. 2>Tying in with the Sins Plus, is it possible to be

Well bugger. Here I was hoping to finally get to play this with entrenchment...I download the Alpha and....MINIDUMP!! What a load of BS. Im running 1.041 at the moment, and everytime I try to enable the mod...I get a minidump.
Do we have any word on when Alpha B is due out?
Well, this is more flexible too as you can edit the starting statistics as well, such as the number of asteroids that could spawn in the gravity well of a given planet type and others. But, thank you very much for your help all the same. Im still fiddling around. XD
Thats not where I found the lines I needed. I found them in the files that start 'planet' then the planet type. They are all entitiy files. The lines that you need to edit come in two catagories with 4 levels in each. The first one is the Civilian ones and they look like this: stage price credits 650.000000 metal 200.000000 crystal 175.000000 upgradeTime 75.000000
If I can merge them, all the better, but if I have to stack them I will. Now, where is that line there that you were talking about? What file is it in?
Okay, I know that there is a x10 mod out there, but it wont work with Mad Scientists Mod...so...I was wondering how I increase structure and skip caps so they are 10 times what they are at the moment? Ive never really don any modding before, so any help you can give would be great. Thanks in advance.
