Wow I just played this game on my new rig. I must say that HD gaming is pretty sweet. Now this game is not the most top of the line AAA titles (no disrepect) but it looks so good. I just played a huge game (Singleplayer) with almost no slow down or chopping and was pretty impressed. Mostly this is just for me to brag about my new computer LAWLZ. ;) PC Specs: XP-pro EVGA 790i Ultra SLI Q6600@3Ghz 4G-DDR3 MEM CorsairXMS x1 8800GTS 320 (second comin
Indeed was wondering that my self.
yeah pretty lame will make me think twice about getting these two games
I am remembering Total Annihilation... that game forced to to design your own units in real time. -Twelvefield
No, no it didn't. All the units in TA were fixed and were not customizable. There were lots and lots of unit packs that added more units but never was there the ability to edit them in real time in game. If you are wondering I still have TA and I still play it at lest once a week.
T- Why should they have to justify having a nuclear power program to the US AT ALL? the US didnt ask anyone if it was okay to develop a bomb, AND THEN USE IT, nuclear power was an afterthought. Its the same damn thing, why do the US think it has the moral justification to dictate this (moral justification), what because youre the "GOOD" guys, bullshit there arnt good guys or bad guys there are just people. Its just one group of people telling the other what they cant have, this is the nat
Nice to hear that Yarlen. Blair Fraser I would also like to thank you for your patients with the community on this matter. And my thanks to the community for helping out. This is an issue I have had since day one and I am for one glad to see it gone. I think this should be common place in more game companies. I mean if a publisher and a developer can work so well hand in hand then its customers should be able to do that as well. I think this shows that it can be done with a mostly matur

Hope I get to work with SD and IC some day!
I have seen this issue in the some of the other menus. I go to click on something to build and get the one next to it instead. I always though it was just lag. But after reading this I think it is a bug. ;)
50% of the time 95% of people think that they are 100% right. It is sometimes hard to tell the difference between a Fanboi and a person who is more knowledgeable that you. And you can quote me on that.
I have noticed that SDC is reporting V1.04.022 and Impulse is reporting V1.04.025. I know Impulse is beta or something like that but just wondering what's up? Also, I used to be takin to the website download page when I clicked "Download Updates" from the in game menu. Now it opens Impulse. Is is suppose to do that? I would like to get back to that downloads webpage. It had my soundtrack download and art download for my CE. Or can you download that stuff through Impulse or S
Lets not forget that Blizzards IP was stol... i mean inspired by Games Workshop. They pretty much been ridding on there coat tail since day 1. WARHAMMERONLYWILLOWNWOWWTFBBQPWNED
I have been having a horrible time with minidumps during MP, I will be doing the proactive thing and install the “troubleshoot” update. My neighbour, brother in-law and a friend (that is everyone I know personally who owns and plays Sins Mp) all are having this problem and all, including myself, have never been able to finish a mp game due to crashes. This leads me to think one of two things, one being that the snyc problem is fairly common, or two , this game is prone to crash which = fl
Yep... I quit trying to figure this out...Me and my buds are planning to just reinstall the game tonight and lan the out of the box version. We didn't start getting these stupid crashes until a few updates ago.I'm in the same boat as you. I was hoping that last update would have fixed what ever is screwing this game up for us but its still there.
More likely that you always had them and had not seen them yet. And no you do not have to wait for 1.1 soon as the hotfix i
Ironclad will release this hotfix as a separate patch once they're sure it does the trick. It will be a required download for everyone.

Do you know when?
Read reply #62.
Also, no one said to replace the EXE. I renamed it and just manual load that one when I want to play using it. Or you could rename the original one and then replace it when its time to update.
I was talking about working netcode. Games ship with working netcode for over 10 years now. Why does Sins have so much trouble with it? And why is it so difficult to solve when nearly every multiplayer capable game in the last 10 years already did it right?
Technology and software changes I do not find it all that far fetched.
Hmm, we can no longer edit our posts on the forum?Anyway, the crash was with the regular 1.04 exe. That's what prompted me to go here in the first place.
The crash with 1.04 is known. That is why there is a SinSyncFix exe out for testing. Glad we cleared that up. I don't know what 2130 CET means. Is that military time? (I am GMT-06:00) I'll be around tonight and tomorrow.
Sorry to be a spoilsport, but my 2v2 game just crashed after about 5 minutes into the game. We had nearly just got started, and I was skirmishing with another player over an asteroid; the first new colony of mine. I had an Akkan and 5-7 cobalts, he had a Kol with two cobalts. It may not be the same problem though. Would you care to have the minidump?
Are you saying it crashed using the SinsSyncFix exe or using the 1.04 exe? Need to clear this up. Also, i
why didnt you just put a link to the fix?
Because, I am not "official" and I wanted people to see that IC was the one that posted the link that it was legitimate . You can understand that if one saw a link to a exe one might think it suspect if you didn't know the source. But I guess I could relink it.
Blair, I haven't really seen many confirmations besides myself/Damon (who are both playing together) are you getting many others saying it's fixed?
And me. ;) BTW when do yall play I want to join and play yall with the SinsSyncFix!
i read about that edix and they didnt want peole ranting there and why should i have to do their job. I paid them to do it and im sick of it. Im entitled to be frusterated and not get flamed for it. If anything they should be kissing my ass.
Indeed, but then again they did not ask you to do there job for them. They asked, and I'm paraphrasing, "Hey guys sorry we haven't fixed this issue yet we have not seen it internally and because of that we have not had a fix for it ye
[link="https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/307544"]Dunno if you have seen this thread yet but its a sticky and has been around for a while. It's being looked in to and there is a hotfix that can be downloaded and tested with to see if it fixes the issue. I have even posted in the MP section of the game trying to get a game up of a large amount of people to test this hotfix they released. The problem is they can not reproduce the issues internaly and have ask us, the people who get the errors t
SC2 is going to be made to cater to the Korean market. (And why shouldn't they its there largest market for the game.) So yeah I will agree with the assessment you give. I will probably buy it though to play with friends and to play the single player game.
