personally i like how titans are forceing greater use of capitols, i never liked how much of an after thought they felt compared to massed frigets and crusers. i hardly ever built more than one cap ship factory before, or bothered to build more than a token force of cap ships, now i always build a cap factory closer to my front icase i lose a cap ship. i would be sad if, as you suggest, frigets were set up as pure Cap/Titon/Starbase/Structure killers. where is the interes

they are as part of the game as any feature. turn them off? in beta the devs need to see how titons and all new fetures preform. if you let players turn them offhow does that help balenceing
statisticly corvetts don't seem to be any sort of counter to any other ship, they are cheap and weak. perhaps the destruction of corvetts dosn't net any experence to a titon, or they have some sort of counter coded into them but it dosn't seem so to me. if there is an advantage to corvetts it likely has something to do with the fact that they act like fighters. the only advantage i see in that is in a fight between light frigets/seige/scout ships and corvets
imo corvetts are purely a means of increaseing fleet surviveability. a slew of corvetts in a fleet dosn't increase the dps compared to equal amounts of lrm's, Carriers, or concentrated light frigets with buffs. nor do they "tank" like capitol ships or hevy crusers. there power is in there cost (wich i think could be lower) and there mobility. they do not buff or heal. in a recent game i built a small group of Corvetts erly game and sent
