Well, at least you have this unofficial patch. If Ironclad could only send me the language file one or two days before they release a new patch, I could have the Spanish version ready on time. But I don´t think it would happen. Meanwhile, we all "Spanish-Sinners" will have a 1-2 days delay in the release of our unofficial spanish patches, but we´ll have them!
Well, it is done. I have made an installer that copies the language file in the exact location and changes the registry in order to activate the Spanish language in the game. It works quite well, no mod required. But it has not been released yet, I will wait for 1.03 to come out, make the update to the translation, and release the whole pack. This pack will also include a little tool to change the active language, and you´ll be able to switch between English and Spanish any time you wan
Siento no haber respondido antes, hace unos dias que no paso por el foro. Creo recordar un correo que recibí de alguien con ese mismo problema. Me parece que la raiz de todo es la versión del juego, ya que aunque en el titulo del hilo pone 1.0, la traducción está hecha sobre los textos de la 1.02. Lo primero que deberías hacer es comprobar que tienes esa versión. Si ya la tienes y aun así falla en los mismo puntos, puede que sea la longitud del texto. En otros sitios del juego
I´ve tested it and it works. I have a Spanish.str file in the String directory of the game, and switch the game language with the tool, no mod needed. I will make some minor tweaks to it, and I will release it as soon as possible.

Hi, I´ve just released my first mod, the complete translation of the game texts. But I have something in mind to make the mod evolve, and a few doubts about it. First of all, can I add another .str file to the original Strings folder? Well, I know I can but, will this cause any kind of verification problem when online? And secondly, does anyone know where is the registry entry that points the language file the game is using? Will I be able to change it without causing any

I found the file and it´s pretty big, so I won´t release a Spanish.str for a while :D I´m using this file as a mod, and it works quite well, but I suppose that every mod would need its own regional file. I have something in mind, and it´s about making an unofficial translation of the game texts to spanish. Since we don´t have release dates for europe, and it´s less than probable to have the game translated, I think it would be a major boost for the spanish Sins community. The point is that I simply don´t know where to start from, and don´t even know if the text files are accesible. Anyone knows? Thanks in advance.
Hi all from Spain, first post here. I couldn´t wait for the european release, i bought it yesterday night (it´s 9.53am here) and i won´t regret! I will improve my english playing, so i think that´s ok. After having played about 5 hours I can only say a big WOW. This really is the game I´ve been waiting for. Simply breathtaking.
