the custom map is in the other galaxy folder which is in C:\Documents and Settings\*user name*\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Galaxy the custom made ones made with the built in editor will be here ^_^
yes we can... we can use notepad to make maps the same way we can use good old pen and paper to work out a maths problem instead of using a calculator. The point is that if the forge tool is fixed, then it will be easier For anyone who reads this...i have found a reply by "PhonSiEtm" that works. I also have the same problem. Cant open any maps at all without it being blank. and any maps i make do not show up in the ingame map list. I placed it in the galaxy folder in the game's root folder...mmm...i hope this is sorted out soon ^_^
