Siege Platform on Asari's planet siege cap ship should not be allowed to cast outside of the platform's own firing range. It is much too easy to waste the ability. Also the tooltips should show how the ability is changing as you put more points in, because right now it doesn't.

I love playing Vasari. Something to keep in mind about them if you're new is that they have the toughest / most damaging ships compared to the other races. If your Advent opponent has 10 light frigates and you have 8, you can probably still win that fight. On the flip side, when you lose ships, it HURTS, so don't throw them away carelessly. You have enough hp to retreat more easily than other races, so run back to your closest repair bay and let your re-integration tech do its magic if thing

OP, you don't know how to play if it takes you 2 hours just to start fighting. If you want fast games play on small maps, even with normal speed settings you will have the option to start fighting, possibly kill, another player within the first 30 minutes. I've done it. Of course, 30 minutes is a longish game of Starcraft by comparison. You might just need to go back to that.

Flak is excellent at killing bombers and especially fighters. It fires in 4 directions at the same time and absolutely shreds with the amount of damage it does. It is basically the only ship you need if the enemy is going all LRMs and Strikecraft, since LRMs do 75% less dmg to Flak frigs than they do to Light frigs. Just support them with a capital killer type cap ship of your own and clean up those spammers before they manage to get more than 10 LRMs built.

It has been pointed out before, I'm sure, but the upkeep assosciated with increasing your maximum fleet size is not being implemented in a good way. Upkeep should logically be based on the size of the fleet you're fielding. Why would someone be paying 75% of their empire's resources into a non-existant fleet after a being routed? Upkeep puts people in irrecoverable situations. As early as the first 9% income being permanantly lost, getting a bad beating and continuing to lose resources can s
