That's disappointing. I always read or at least glance through the manual before starting a game. Those here following Entrenchment development on a near daily basis might not see much value in a manual. However, the more casual SoaSE players would probably like to know more about the additions and changes Entrenchment brings. A few Entrenchment video clips posted on video game sites are not substitutes for a manual.
I was not impressed with the victory scenes either. A quality ending is something that makes a good game feel like a great one. Not only are the current scenes underwhelming, but the transition from gaming to victory scene is jarring. In my opinion the action should stop and fade out when victory is acheived.
