And I'd go public again and again. Oh I have, I posted my opinion at several locations online about my issues with Wincustomize.
AllDoneHere
Now you see what I mean about the admin on Wincustomize? That's what I've been dealing with...
Red neck you truly live up to your nick... that's something to be proud of.
Ah... you see Redneck Dude is the one who needs to be taken down a notch or 2.
Oh and here is a link to the Dream that was in Question at the time - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YfhUQEM213I&feature=plcp I encourage you to download it and try it out for yourself....
I'll be creating until I'm dead and buried in my grave... it's about the only thing left I can do. Physically I'm not able to work and I'm kind of stuck here at my home desk day in day out.
Well I was a willing participant on the Wincustomize site... now all of my work is on YouTube and I never have to find out if I get one star or 12, they always make it up online and are not knocked to the bottom of the basket. Here's a link to my work on YouTube - http://www.youtube.com/user/Pegusis2/videos As a matter of Fact, out of 36000 views I've got 6 thumbs down, which to me is a pretty good avera
It all started over me getting a 1 out of 10 on one of my dreams and I'm like... what????? All over a little blip where the loop was and I do mean a Little Blip. Neone and Vamp were both like wow cool nice dream..... and I wake up to a 1 star...
I wasn't talking down to them... but Jafo was quite rude about my animations.
Ah... That's because my nick used to be Peggy2 and I was a dream submitter... and that's what this is all about.
I've uninstalled The Stardock/Wincustomize software - My personal opinion on Wincustomize and Stardock is that I wouldn't recommend their software to anyone. They are very unprofessional and are not customer oriented. The admins are rude and obnoxiousness and are less than customer oriented. After years of uploading Dreams to the site I've deleted all my work and uninstalled their software from my computers
I'll uninstall wincustomize if an admin is Rude.... Oh I have. Darn software soured right after Jafo's remarks... How sucky is that? [e digicons][/e]
Personal opinion - I think it looks really busy and lacks any kind of subtlety. Not really what I'm looking for on my desktop.
Unless you viewed it on my YouTube site, you did not download the Dream, there is only one download showing and I'd like to think that Wincustomize were the downloaders, otherwise they did not give it a real chance. So to view a video online and not as the background on a full screen is not
I've been animating for sometime now and my latest FracTal NeoPlanet was given a 1 Star and in my opinion it is as good as any of my 5 star dreams... so why the one star? Here is a link to it - https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/dream/4015/ It takes quite a bit of work to create these and then change to a dream with a thumb nail and a screen shot and then be told it's only a 1 Star???? Come off o
Hey thnx for the Karma! :)
The other bit? Well to be honest with you, I don't think I'm dead just yet... one foot in the grave, but not dead. I'm not sure what happened but when I posted the first time all of a sudden my karma went to 0, later in the day I got my big wopping 14 karma back :o) Yeeeeee hawwww! You know what really sux? My vacuum. Have a good one! TGIF by the way.
To - Disturbedcomputer No... I'm saying My Windows 7 box is screwy... The dreams that I've been creating work fine on my old Vista computer but I only figured that out this morning when I copied a couple of the dreams to it. It seems my new computer can run mpeg and wmv files no problem, it can also run Dream fo
I just figured out that the Dreams I've been creating were working, they work fine on my other computer just not on my New one!?! My new computer, a Windows 7 Home Premium, is what I have been using to create my fractals. All of the videos work fine as an animated wallpaper (mpeg or wmv format), but when I was changing them to a Dream they would not work or crashed DeskScapes program. This morning I copied a couple of dreams from this computer to my old Vista machine a
First off I want to Thank you all for helping. I figured out what the problem has been. I've been saving my image files as png's and jpg's, the first fractal I did was in bmp's these work. The .jpg and .png files even though they work to create the movies, they however have a problem being saved in a Mpeg - 2 format. I've tried the .bmp format in creating a movie and I have no problem, my Dream files work. Note to self - BMP
I wonder if I download my file back off YouTube and then try to render the dream if it will work.?. I'm going to give it a shot. I won't be surprised if this works. Big thanks for showing this in a video format and taking the time to do so.
I just re-created a Dream that I had created a while ago as a test dream and it works, I did not have any problems running it or applying it. So it does not appear to be a a problem with the DreamMaker tool. I used an mpeg file for the test. So it's got something to do with the way I am creating the video file. I have been saving as both Mpeg and Wmv files and these do not appear to work. I thought it might be the image file format but I'
I hear what you are saying... I've been creating dreams this way for the last 5 years or more... These are not the files that are causing the problem. The files I create are from single frame images created in a Fractal program, I take the individual files into Video Wave, make each frame .33 seconds long and a fast fade between the frames. The Dream https://www.wincus
If you use Freemake Video Downloader you can choose the type of file you want to download, it gives you the choice of flv, mpeg, avi and so on. I've been downloading this way for quite awhile and I have used the files this way to create dreams in the past.
I do thank everyone who is trying to help [e digicons]^_^[/e] with this problem.
You can try anyone of my files off of youtube - http://www.youtube.com/user/Pegusis2 , choose a recent one, any of the last 10 to 15 files.
