Thank you for clearing that up. I've been waiting for someone to raise the question for a while now but nobody asked :)
Fallout386
Looking at Trinity boxart and wallpapers etc I see portraits for the three races not available in diplomacy expansion. Can anyone confirm if there are new portraits you can choose from in Trinity? I've double checked diplomacy now and no new portraits to choose from when selecting portrait options.
Descriptions of abilities and ship qualities are very vague unless you read the full info card and even in some cases that's not clear enough. I wish instead of saying " Strong against none " it said something like " Support Ship - Repair & maintenance ". That is actually useful information that I can understand and go
I got this error trying to install impulse after I uninstalled it, changed some drive letters and tried reinstalling. Something in the registry gets stuck and keeps giving you that fatal error message. A few other games wouldn't install properly either eventhough I uninstalled them before changing drive letters. Anyway only way to fix it was clean up the lingering registry entries in my registry (or reinstall windows). Try using <a title="CCleaner Downloads" href="http://www.ccleaner.com/down
There is no best but some come close. Currently I prefer using the following applications on my machine to prevent any malicious spread of bugs. All use minimal resources since I need all the grunt for my gaming of course and all free since I like free stuff [e digicons]:bebi:[/e] Avira Antivir Personal - Seems to be one of the highest rated out there, detects viruses that numerous other virus checkers I tried didn't dete
Perfectly safe. Been on numerous flights with laptop bag, hard drives in the lapy bag and in my suitcase that went under the belly. Not one problem. Only annoying thing is when you randomly get picked for explosive detection and when they swipe your laptop it says "EXPLOSIVES DETECTED" so they have to do it again and again till it comes up clean :P I work for defence so I guess traces of gunpowder get in there from me fingers [e digicons]
Thanks for the tips. Good for casual players like myself that keep forgetting what counters what and the info cards are a little vague sometimes with their constant "Strong against none" commentary on most ships. [e digicons][/e]
And the new RPG Title is: Galactic Sins of an Elemental Civilization Demigod. (GSECD) [e digicons][/e] On a more serious note and not a woefully attempt at humor way I'm hoping its a SCI-FI RPG. I'm so sick and tired of orcs and elves and what not. Planescape universe would also be welcome. Although the bioware game felt like reading a novel it had a damn good story and very interesting characters. I mean who wouldn't prefer to have Morte travelling w
WOW this is great news ! [e digicons]:D[/e] Good to see the company that treats its customers with respect and dignity is getting more and more successful. I look forward to more DRM free experience from my favourite creators. Where can I pre-order this new RPG? Don't even need to know what it is, with your current reputation I know it's going to be epic no matter what! [e digicons]:inlove:[/e]
I'm sick of Stardock treating all people who can not update the game via the Internet only Impule as criminals. "The Gamers Bill of Rights" - hahaha - they forgot number 11 11. Gamers have the right to be treated as dirty pirate scum unless they have a high speed Internet connection with which to get patches, activations and prove they have a money flow with which to buy the game.
I'm sorr
. Sure the online connection is a pain in the ass at times (running off a generator during a power outage ) but overall it does it's job of keeping pirates at bay while avoiding the necessity to perform a cavity search.
Online connectivity requirement is the sole reason why I don't own any steam products except for Team Fortress 2. I refuse to purchase anything from Steam that requires an internet connection to use. Why you ask? I
Commendable but doubtful other publishers will follow suit any time soon. Will definately have me keeping tabs on Impulse/Stardock released games than any other publisher. I'm quite sick of stupid copy protection schemes that go so far as to force me to look for and download cracks to play the games that I paid good money for. It is refreshing to see at least one company out there that won't treat me like a criminal for purchasing their games. Sometimes I doubt why I still purchase ga
