Is it possible to win actually win by dominating culture?? because every time i try it it never works. i have tried it multiple times online. Using advent, since they seem to be the 'culture' race, maxing out just about every plaent i get with culture stations, even using multiple deliverance designs, againced a weaker opponent. it just doesnt seem to work. he eventually came at me with a fleet and took me out (a pretty weak one i might add, but i spent all my money on culture stuffs). even thou
I would like to be able to look at my planets on the map and be able to tell immediately which ones need upgrading. And this one is way out there, but..I would like them to investigate the possiblity of tying some of the fleet points to how many planets you own, so empires with 5 planets cannot afford to have the same fleet size as an empire with 30 planets (like in the beta).
Yes, i agree with both comments.
To be able to CHOOSE your starting point.. Like in ALL other strategy games ever produced....
yeah, no kidding.
I second the pirate ideas mentioned by the TC (as well as the separate black market button)Also wanted: The (hopefully) future black market button to show the market graph
The black market button, could be the current graph, miniaturized. so that before you even click on it you have a general idea of what prices you are dealing with.
nice post! I agree the research needs be more significant... like 5% dmg increase is barley noticeable. and now doing any non unit research seems pointless until mid game, which makes me wonder why have these techs a low lvls if they are so useless... personally like it when having a tech advantage actually makes an impact, where you can say; "shit, i'm glad a researched rocket pods. I can finally take out his harassing scouts..." -generic researching type game.
looks good, seems like lrm's have a counter now, carriers. and carriers are countered by flak.. i mean rock paper scissors works... its just kinda simplistic.
/=========================================================================================== | | OK i have some ideas i have been writing down while i play the game. | Here they are: | | - An option to have the alt button always pushed. so that health bars, targeting | orders, and range indicators are always present. | | - The black market and pirate bidder be separate buttons on the top of the screen. So that you can quickly choose | which window to open. <br
canbt wait
the ai's are so easy, my friend and i take on 4 hard ais vs the two of us, then it get challenging....
Thinking through this, it's really a no-win scenario. The client would have to download the current save file automatically to rejoin a game in progress. The problem with this is twofold: 1. If anything happens between the sending of the save file (which is a few megabytes in size) and the player join, that data now has to be updated again 2. Latency issues would abound as the host now has to upload a save file to the client What will ha
4) this one is abit out there but i really would like to see another kind of combat ship like the cobalt that was lower on the tech tree (cruiser sized ship) which would act as an interim ship instead between the cobalt and kodiak, this would be an excellent way to stop the cobalt (and equivalant ship) spam tactic that seems to be employed alot - now i know there are already ways to counter it so don't tell me that i need to L2P. it's a suggestion.
can you make it so that you can rejoin games you have dropped from? not sure how the connectivity in ICO works, but with the games often lasting so long, someone will inevitably drop/crash and there should be a way of rejoining so that everyone in the game doesnt continue without you
i have dropped from a few good games and it sucks. this would be a very nice feature. like maybe the ai will take over for a bit, but when you rejoi
no planets have moons...
I'd like to see a planetary defense network that can be built in planet improvements like missile silos that fire volleys from the surface.
that would be so cool. P.S. i love watching the TEC nukes hit the planets
First off, i realize this request is big. So i dont realistically expecti it to be in the next version. But i want to put it out there. The Pirates NEED to have thier own Economy. They need to follow rules like the rest of us. They should get their in come from the bounties we put up and from the black market. Plus maybe a little blood money on the side, since they are organized crime of course. This would make their whole existance sooo much more palatable to

dude, if anything the computers are too easy
An option to make the alt function always on for the zoomed in planetary combat, so that you can always see the ranges of your units and their current targets. make the pirate bidding and blackmarket separate buttons on the top of the screen, its annoying to have to click one and then the other, if you know what i mean... yeah and make an option to put a timer maybe at the top or bottom of the scrren showing pirate time, and curretn target and price. then when you want to bid make the s
as long as its balanced, it sounds great
you forgot to say brad sent you...
well i just got the game this morning and i wanted to try an online game, and there are only 2 up, its about 11 am tuesday, maybe its cuz every one is at work/school, but it seems pretty crappy there there are only 2 hosted games online... well i hope that the game gets more populr with time, cuz from what i've played its pretty nice.
