Reply to Beta 1.2 bugs in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

I have this savegame which, on the campaign map with Charon - I built an Influence Mine and had a number of cruisers scattered around it and a fleet type waypoint over it. Taking a cruiser from the bottom left stack and moving it into the mine will crash the game. Always. Wondering if any of the devs will send me an e-mail so I can send him the savegame.

I think that the game was largely designed as a multiplayer game. I don't think that under the circumstances (that is - a known, fairly easy to "solve" tech tree and the concept of economic/military might victory) the AI stands a fair chance without cheating. However, since human players know the rules in advance, then the game takes on a whole new strategic point of view. Attacking early will stop other players from efficiently advancing the tech, but would also stop you. Advancin
