im hoping they will get rid of the peer to peer idea, it makes things too complicated and impossible for some people who dont have access to their access ports or routers.
laminblake
still a problem :( still angry
[quote]Sorry to say but after starting two games and playing for about 5 hours each I dont like the game anymore. Mainly one thing : I was always attacked by three enemys at the same time - with one I had a chase fire but then he broke it up and minutes later he attacked me too. I even had no chance to get to much other planets because I was too so busy to defend my own planets. AI is a good thing but when it's always all against you it really sucks. I played all betas
ohh ya sorry i got the 2 companies mixed up hehe
i have vista and love it D, and i didnt mean having DX10 only, i meant having it as an option. i dont know about interstellar trade, i had trade posts in 2 solar systems and the trade ships didnt go back and forth from 1 system to the other
hey everyone hope you are all enjoying beta 2 as i am. I am here to give my feedback for beta 2 and release some cool ideas based on past games. First off i would like to point out that the ai is having trouble with the new updates. it seems like the AI is unable to adapt to the new changes because ive played for about an hour and a half and i havent been attacked yet with any fleets, just enemy scouts flying through my empire not engaging me. I attacked an empire and found that the AI
anyones guess 11:59 pm is probably best guess
buest guess is probably gonna be 3 pm
i think there was one crappy looking playstation game but it looked rubbish definitly not galactic and there is a mod for battlefield 2 as well that looks good, but again not galactic scale, i was thinking that it would be hard to structure a game around the story, but then i thought look at homeworld its a great game with a similar storyline, surprise attack --tick home planet destroyed --tick limited resources that have to be mined by ship
after playing for many days i think most of us are ready to duel it out amongst ourselves. the only real issue i think would be the lag, everyone wants to build a fleet of 300 ships or more and that i think might cause some.... problems even though my pc can handle it im not sure others might.
you cant have a cool space game without having a battlestar galactica mod
surprized that the team hasnt set up a beta forum yet for errors so ill instead create a thread for it . please post your description of your errors here. 1. Report exactly how the error occured (remember beta 1 is about if the game runs, not ai bugs, balance issues, or interface issues) 2. no harrasment about how crappy the game looks, feels, and plays. 3. no whining on how long
ohh thank god
crap gotta wait till friday to get teh preorder...hope i can still be in beta 1
YES i actually get to say what i want withough being criticized. beta 1 is gonna suck balls. PERIOD. its gonna be a waiste of money and everyone will be dissapointed. its gonna feel like a game made by a 2 year old and i wouldnt be surprized if it was. YOU are all fools for falling into the stardock money trap called "preorder beta" Losers.. All statements above have been made by my sister. so please do not be offened by any of these statements because she couldnt even beat the firs
imperium galactica 2 is a classic and one of my favorites, has problems playing on xp and vista but is still a great game to play, from my point of view its better than galactic civilizations series which focuses too much on ai than on gameplay.
anyways, wow is a gold mine to not charge a month would be a very very dumb mistake by any buisnessman what was it 14.95 a month? 8 million * 14.95 * 12 months hmmm thats like 1.5 billion dollars a year!!!
hey hey hey wanna know what a real scam is.... www.hornymatches.com $30 a month to talk to a "horny" girl that 9/10 times the profile is just made up by the admin of hte website.
all i can say is that it is a game with loud irritating noises in battles that are not nearly as big as they should be
hmmmm how about no amount of ships per battle cap for those who's computers can take it hehehehe.
ummmm wasnt this forum about quantum computers how did we end up with the chinese food industry
haha just built my first factory complex, and the money is flowing like crazy
Ok, here is my best go at an analogy for this operation: Is everyone familiar with the monkey's, keyboards and shakespeare concept? heres a rundown: if you have 10 monkeys bashing randomly at keys on a keyboard for a million years you will eventually come out with all of shakespeare's works (and supposedly many other people's to) qubits work under the same concept, by running all states of "on" "off" and in between simultaneously you come out
well a 1000 qubit computer wont be seen for a long time due to my understanding. Currently they can only read 16 qubits because the more atoms that are used the harder it is to read the direction of the electrons going aroudn the atom (electrons going clockwise = On, electrons going counter clockwise = off) this is because of hte increasing clutterness i beleive. So hopefully as the technology progresses reading more atoms thus increasing qubits will occur. But for now 16 qubits is all that is g
i have the 2.o update, dang you have that much lol, sure ill sign up with the forums.
