Might be me getting old but i am fairly sure that it was possible to choose 1280 x 1024 resolution before but it´s not available in Beta 3 ? If it´s my memory that has gone on vacation, could you please add this option ? I DO remember needing it.. [e digicons]|-)[/e]

Although i think it is fairly realistic that the pirates prefer to attack an unarmed colony ship (with loads of stuff to grab) as soon as they saw som real opposition they should try to escape rather than fight a strong fleet. As a solution to the early colony rush problem, what about the following ? 1) Make the construction of each colony ship reduce the population of the planet where it is built, since you are infact shipping a load of people off to another planet. <

What if these could be attacked by an enemy faction, the pirates or insurgents resulting in missions for the player to come to the rescue ? Having played around with beta 2 for some days here is my 2 cents: 1) The game seems very stable already. I have had no issues so far. 2) I really like the seamless zoom from overall galaxy down to detailed view. 3) Some more "life" in space would be nice. Like civilian ships, factories and similar to get a feel of a living universe. 4) The ability to build different types of ships seems a bit unbalanced.
