Wish i could help, maby a dev or mod will take notice and come by to offer some advice. All i can say is I have a friend who bought the game and is crashing after startup as well, but he figured it was a hardware problem, not a software prob. Good luck in getting everything up and running.

I deffinetly wouldnt like the forums to be closed down, even if they are a bit...excentric I take the time to browse them daily just to be up to date on all things GalaCiv. So my vote would be no, finish your new version you're working on and if it doesnt work out the way you hope, then maby revisit turning it off.
