I tried it on my other my other computer which is running XP and no luck there either. Is it a problem on my end or a problem with Particle Forge itself.

Is anyone able to run Particle Forge on Vista. I have installed it in the same mannar as with the 1.05 tools but cannot get it to work. I have even add in the d3dx9_32.dll file to the sins directory and to the Particle Forge folder but still am unable to get it to work. I even tried unistalling Sins and the Forge Tools and reinstalling them both but to no avail. Any Ideas?

I have it for the Xbox 360 and I enjoy it. One of the best games I have played in my opinion. I don't know how it is on the PC. By that I mean the came play enjoyment. I never liked first person shooter type games on the PC. (Huts my hand after awhile)

So, am I reading (looking) the entity file right. Will be able to have more than two types of fighter squadrons avalible to each ship. I think I read somewhere that we will but you will still only be able to select two types of fighters even if there are four types avalible. Any idea what it will actually be.

Click on the start button in the lower left corner. In the search field type in "run." In the box that pops up type in "cmd." This will open the cmd window that will allow you to run convert data.

I still haven't been able to get particle forge to work on vista either. Load it the exact same way as 1.05 and still nothing. I have net2.0 and that pesky d something 32 whatever file and still nothing. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone else having problems getting Particle Forge to work. I hac no problems witht the 1.05v, but with 1.1v no luck. I am running Vista and extraced the files the same as the previous version, placed them in the same folder and nothing. Everytime I try to open it I get a window with "Particle Forge Exe has stopped working", windows checks for a soulution and gives me nada. HELP!!!!! There are some things in the game I feel need attention and I can't do anything. And b

Ok, so the only modding I have done is changing a few lines in text files and I would like to try my hands at modeling. I like most of the ships in the game but like alot of you I would like to see others in it. My question is, what is a good texture editing program. I downloaded a trial of photoshop but it wouldnt open dds. files. Is there an inexpensive program that will open both formats. I don't know if I will like modeling or not and don't want to spend a fortune on a program I won't use

Appriciate the help. The forum link that is in the post you sent help me out perfectl. This really should be included in the readme for the tools. It would have helped me out a lot and I am sure other people as well.

Ok, I know this has been posted already but it hasn't gotten an answer yet. After downloading the modding tools, how do you get the data converters to work. When I double click the .exe file it flashes on the screen and then disapears. I know there are tutorials out but they really don't help a rookie like me out. Other then changing little, and I mean little, things in a game I have never done any modding. Please help!!!
