^^^^ Rofl :p That would be my biggest problem apparently. :)

Yeah guess I should clarify that. Yes I got Entrenchment :) Finally found the ship to build a starbase. Haven't seen the mine one yet. Lol... going to have to go through every ships' description again
So I've started a new game but I don't see any of the new content. Where is the option to build a starbase, mine layer, etc.?? (a new manual listing where to find the new content is sorely missed)
So I bought and downloaded Entrenchment. Now nearly all the maps that used to be in the list are gone. There are only 2 small and 1 large map. Where did everything else go? edit: Uninstalled and then did reinstall. Everything showed up ok after that.
Thanks Annatar11, I was running a mod. I turned it off and the button re-appeared.
Hello All, I just patched to 1.03 and now I only have Small scenarios to choose from. I can't find the button to switch to Medium/Large. Am I just completely missing it??
I play Gateway and don't have this problem. Of course I was also not a dumbass and quickly expanded to the three asteroid colonies surrounding Gateway so that I wasn't constantly fighting them a jump away from my Xi colonies.
I'm afraid I don't understand the point of your post. So are you saying because you "don't have this problem" then the rest of us complaining are "histrionic"? Being a bit "egocentric" aren't we? I mean re
I think the cruiser is still the best idea that'd be quick to implement with the current system. I'm not too keen on the whole antimatter to jump thing either. If you had 2-5 "jump blocking" cruisers in a fleet, the enemy forces would have to turn and engage making 1 of 3 choices: 1) Fully engage the entire fleet hoping to win (or loose causing lots of damage) 2) Engage just the cruisers hoping to take them out and escape before they're all blown to pieces 3) Split the
I'd like to see a support cruiser that disrupts phase jumping within a certain radius (large w/ more research).
If you have not tried the medium map "Gateway" yet, here is the general premise. There are two stars: 1 where all players start and another filled with many resources. There is 1 planet, Gateway, which has the only phase lane to the first system's star. The idea is to control that planet and thus control travel to the resource filled second star system (this is stated directly in the map's description). Knowing this, I quickly built up a large fleet and took control of Gateway. 4 capit
Yeah, frequent phase jumping is annoying. What I don't understand is why phase jumps (without the upgrade) consume 100 antimatter, yet you can still jump away with 0 antimatter.
Exactly! When playing TEC I try to pursue a fleeing ship to the next sector but when I get there I never have enough antimatter to disrupt them again. So far when playing against friends, the second they arrive in a new sector while fleeing they
Those capital ships upgrades shut down another capital ship for barely a few seconds. Hardly enough to make a big difference. I'd love it though if the amount of time the ship was shut down could be increased through more expensive tech research. The phase disrupter no longer blocks ships from phase jumping. It only increases the amount of time it takes for a ship to jump, but again I don't think it's very useful at it's current setting. And again, I'd love to see a more advanced versio
I love this game! So far it's been a blast. There are the usual small things and design issues that I'm sure can be improved by patches. But there's one thing that is absolutely driving me crazy. It's the cat and mouse game you play to destroy a capital ship. You start a battle and the target capital ship phase jumps away... you jump after it, it jumps again, and again, and AGAIN!!! Does this sound familar? I've actually passed the target capital ship in phase space backtracking to the
