Ships and Technology Research in Game Talk GalCiv2 Forums

Hi all, Is there a way to view the needed technologies to research for a specific ship design? Say I have a custom design that hasn't come up in my ship build list yet and I need to know which techs to research to obtain that ship....how do I do that? Thnx! DV
