If we had the resources I would love to do something like the Ace Combat series, only missions would take you between atmospheric combat and space combat with the controls changing in each. There was a great mission in Ace Combat 4 where you had to protect this satellite as it was being launched, it would have been cool if you could have escorted it all the way into space and shit.
