I was going to post that the Stargate SG-1 marathon on Scifi was helping to pass the time...but time to play!
I'm going to have to say Karrastra Destructor
Antorak Marauder
Its a bunny rabbit KOL
They should just land on the planet or asteroid they are at until help arrives!
We will be creating a download library for Sins where people can upload/download mods, replays, etc.
i like this idea better.
wow, thats a fast response!
I thought 'epicness' was voted out of this game when everyone stated that they expect a medium map to yeild a 1 - 2 hour 'skirmish'.
I cannot find a real world example of how the culture system in sins works. Needless to say, I am not a big fan. In real life, a heavy dose of culture from another civilization usually leads to Xenophobia and Nationalism.
I love it!
I like my Japanese electronics and Chinese clothes, but that doesn't make me want to give up my guns and become Canadian, or give up my courage and become French. Maybe culture should effect your economy more and loyalty less?
i like how the dual 512mb 8800GT is looking (for the price).
In the final version is there going to be easy/med/hard options that relate to how much resources are available?
I have a good Idea I think... Lets say a basic asteroid produces at a rate of 10... have this eventually run down to say 5, but it stops there and is inifinte... This way you have an infinite resource collection, but your economy does peak, decline, and then stabilize, it would make the refinery more useful, and reduce the spamming a bit, but without dropping the infinite potential.
This could help speed up the start of a game buy giving us more resources to start
Maybe resources could slowly run out.
Imho capships should either get some upkeep cost, or an increase in building costs, supply costs. A soft limit is much better then the current (research) hard limit. I totally agree.
I am not for a cap on any ship type. That will just force me to play the same way evey time. Give me my ship points and let me spend them how i want....let me build all the same type or whatever.
Personally, I prefer having the numbers. My time sense is... rough, at best. Its a flaw, I will admit. same... same here, Me four! Also, when i jump into a gravity well with a fleet, and pick up a few more units I have to remember every time to click to have them jump at the same time. Is there an option t
how about as you research the ability to use more cap ships the number of ships per lvl goes up until the last research which then becomes unlimited. I like that idea, or making cap ships cost more for each additional one you add to your fleet (to represent an increase in technology for each ship you build)
Look, I'm as anxious as anyone else to get my hands on a new faction, as well as other features, but when it comes down to it, I'd rather have a good game that WORKS well, than to pressure them endlessly to field another faction just to appease us. They'll probably do it sooner or later, but let them test the heck out of what game we have. It will all come in due time. <IMG onload="ImageResizer.createOn(this);" src="http://images.stardock.com/sd_co
i need a meter or something to tell me when its safe to colonize so it doesn't immediately flip.
