Well, I think what he's referring to is the "tug-of-war" phenomenon. You know, when one massive spacebattle persists for the last half of the game because both sides keep sending a massive line of reinforcements. In this instance, setting resources to low and ship speed to fast would remedy this issues quickly (and probably end the game a lot sooner).

Well, I definately agree with posters that claim that Capital ships are not worth the money. I love the concept, but the only way they earn back their cost is if they survive for a formidable period of time. However, by the time you've made it 45 minutes into the game, fleets have become large enough to turn any capital ship into space junk in approximately 10 seconds. Well, I really do enjoy Sins but one thing really bothers me. As soon as I a game hits the half hour mark, spamming ships becomes an essential part of the game. Recently, I played in an FFA and I was the last person alive aside from one other opponent, whom was evenly matched with me in economy and fleet capacity.
