The lag starts after about 10 to 15 minutes of play (after 3 games). All games lagged so much that we were unable to complete our games. In one instance, it lagged enough that gave us both a "concede" option, and somehow split us both off into different games (the ai taking each of our places). That surprised both of us because we didn't hit "concede". At least we are connecting... but clearly, something else is going on. When the lag starts, it's severe, as in game-

Well, after re-installing and re-activating both games, we finally got a connection and were able to play. We were excited. And then we played. Lag, lag, lag, lag.

If it is a networking problem, it is not one that existed prior to the 1.2 update. Also, other LAN games are working fine. Sins of a Solar Empire, Spectromancer and Splinter Cell are LANning just fine. DG worked fine with this configuration before the 1.2 update.

More information on my problem. As an intial matter, the two copies of DG at issue were validated and re-activated for trouble shooting. Didn't fix the problem. Having no luck with the LAN, we tried DG on the internet (ZehDon's suggestion). Computer #1 can log into Demigod multiplayer via the internet. Computer #2 cannot. So it's looking like Computer #2 is the "source" of the conflict. Both computers have Windows 7 - 64 bit, and Trend Micro fi

Just to clarify, I'm not experiencing lag. Hosted games are not even showing up to the other LAN party. No matter who hosts. Before the update, DG worked fine. LAN is working. Presently works fine with other LAN games. Firewall was shut down (to rule it out). Anti-virus was also shut down. Both systems running Windows 7. Still no dice.

Checked the versions. 1.2 across the board. Checked the firewalls. Demigod.exe is allowed (let me know if there are other files that need to be excepted). LAN works fine on other games too. Sins of a Solar Empire works, for example. *scratching head*

Demigod LAN was working fine before the 1.2 patch. Now, hosted games do not appear to others connected to the LAN. Any ideas folks?

My favor points got messed up with the last update. In single player, if I purchase a favor item, it's not there the next time I play. Oh, and the update wiped out all my previous items and favor points. I'm NOT happy. How to build up favor points? I might have had some advice on that a week ago. Now, I can't even KEEP favor items.
