I don't like battle 12 as much simply because I tend to hear it alot ingame. My personal favorites are Tec Theme, Trouble 5, and Advent Battle 1 & 2 (I love that malevolent feel).

I noticed some people are having the same trouble I am having. Before I updated to Entrenchment Beta 3, I uninstalled both the original vanilla Sins and the previous 2.5 Entrenchment beta. I also went and deleted all old Entrenchment stuffs (saves, custom maps, etc). After I downloaded the game again and installed the new version of Entrenchment, every game I played minidumps quite quickly. I never had this problem with 2.5 beta with my usual settings, and th
Yeah I've also been noticing some wierd absent textures and icons. For a while, none of the new icons (ograv research picture, starbase upgrade button, etc) for Entrenchment would show up. It took me about ten minutes trying to figure out how to upgrade the SB when I noticed the upgrade button was simply black.
That seemed to work. I was able to play on a medium sized random map for about an hour with no problems. I turned down the ingame settings to medium to be safe, but it works now. Edit: I should clarify: I verified installation and updated Entrenchment.
I also seem to have the same problem XML (28, 8). However, after reinstalling I found the game will no longer start or run now. At least before, I could play for a bit before it died.
this .. is ridiculously pointlessthe two sides of the argument are irreconcilable. this is just unproductive conversation often resorting to personal attacks on peoples' beliefs and or intellect...prove me wrong.
I cannot speak for those in the current religious debate, but I'm just trying to show that evolution is a science and should be taught in schools as science. Intelligent Design is not science and should not be taught in schools as science. This is still a major
Believing in the monstrous bridge between (proven) micro-evolution and (theorized) macro-evolution is to have more faith than a person of faith.
Macro-evolution is just micro-evolution plus time.
Wow, Forgiven, there are people who have stated over and over again what evolution is. And then you give that post. Please, please look up what evolution actually is. Look up wikipedia for five minutes. Look up talkorigins.org for an alternate perspective (I look up creationist websites to see their side of the story). Evolution is definitely not what you think it is. You believe in some strange, ridiculous evolution where things suddenly appear and change out of nowhere because some entit
Wow, this must be a new record for these forums!
This is a very important issue to people in the United States. It must look like we're arguing whether or not the Earth is flat to other countries.
Machines are not alive. They do not reproduce. Life does. Therefore life undergoes evolution. Read cscoles post [link="https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/309057"]here[/link] about the change of allelic frequencies over time (evolution).
Please answer my "Space Shuttle" analogy. My answer is that someone had to DESIGN and create the shuttle. It just didn't "evolve" from a bunch of parts laying around.
Space Shuttles aren't alive... therefore they cannot undergo evolution. However, you could probably create a program to mimic evolution and "produce" a space shuttle like creation. Sorta like NASA's antenna [link="http://www.spaceref.com/news/viewpr.html?pid=14394"]here.[/link]
2. Evolution has some major problems that have been noted over the years even by prominent evolutionists. (e.g. Darwin wrote, "To suppose that the eye with all its inimitable contrivances for adjusting the focus to different distances, for admitting different amounts of light, and for the correction of spherical and chromatic aberration, could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest degree." -- The Origin of Species, J.M. "I am not saying evolution is incorrect, only trying to persuade others to have a differing more open view on the subject. I agree based on biology, that evolution is an important process. But why restrict ourselves to a single explanation when we have such variety around us?" Simply put, Evolution has been rigorously tested for over 150 years with a mountain of scientific evidence that Darwin could have never dreamed of in his time. What would be the other explanations for the
