My computer is pretty much at 100% when running Sins too. It does it on Homeworld and HW2 also.

So now online multiplayer games are a waste until the next update?

Fix the names list in the lobby so it doesn't jump to the top every time someone leaves. Have a different color for players that are in games, so you know they're not actually in the lobby.

I agree that some people online are "unpleasant". However, ask yourself, do I stay off the roads and not drive because there are those who can't drive courteously? I say come have some fun online. I find that the majority of the time it isn't bad. I've played 8-10 games so far and only ran into one irritating person.

Fix the lobby so that it doesn't jump back to the top of the name list every time someone leaves or enters, while I'm scrolling through the names.

Beta 4, but I've been following it since before Stardock got involved.

I think many of the beta testers are mostly interested in single-player. Many of those who are interested in multi-player aren't playing it that much now until the release.

I'll be playing multi-player all the way.

It is always slow whenever I get on it. Time of day does not make much difference.

I'm confused about buying with tokens and getting in the Beta. I thought the beta had closed. I've got several friends who might have gone ahead and bought it if they could get in.

Stupid Azz Cheater(s). Can't even follow the simple request from the devs not to cheat. Probably have now insured that Sins gets a lower place than it would've otherwise had on it's own merit.

I don't think it matters much in the single player arena but I think there are going to have to be some changes from the multi-player/online perspective in order to make the games shorter. I've been thinking the online games need to start players out with a small fleet and probably more than one planet.

I jumped into the multi-player head first last night with the help of a couple friends. One of them has played some and guided us along. The tutorials did a great job of giving me the basics before we started. We then played a 3vs3 against comps on a 5vs5 map and that resulted in a game that took 4 1/2 hours. We decided to quit without finishing the mop-up since it was 5:30am by then. I like the zoom feature very much. I've not figured out how to use the info on the left of

I agree with you lordkosc. Am I a little diasappointed that it's looking like February may not be the month? YES. This is something that we can't really change, so quit worrying about it. The last thing the developers want is for the beta to come out before they have got the basics of the game the way they need to be. It must be. I've noticed it is exceedingly high sometimes. Much higher than could possibly be viewing the Sins forum.

Will you announce the beta ahead of time or will it just be an announcement that it has started?
