I haven't been able to play much of Albion, but it doesn't replace TC. None of the many plots available in TC are available in Albion, and important things (to me) like the player HQ are not present either. Although, there have been hints that they may add some small updates like that to future patches.

I'd vote for Total Annihilation if it was in the past 10 years. I'll go with Morrowind instead. If you didn't play it when it was new, then you'll never understand. 8) If anyone (including me) ever found out how many hours I've accumulated (and am still accumulating) in that game it would be shocking.
For ~$750 you could build a PC that will last you ~5 years without having to be replaced. It's extremely easy to build your own, and I highly recommend it over buying a prebuilt from any company.
So I've been looking for a good RTS game to play for awhile now. I have a game to play in every genre when I get the itch except for this one. Does anyone have any recommendations? There is no limit on how old the game can be, as long as I can get it to run on Windows 7 x64. I don't care about anything other than the fun factor, it doesn't matter if it's modern, sci-fi, or high fantasy. Honestly, I wouldn't mind one of each.
Gah, stop sending me to that website! I always end up buying a game or three every time I browse it.
Is this actually true? I've read a few contradictory rumors, so I'm still trying to be optimistic about the future of the series. I love the series, but I would rather keep replaying the 3 that I already have than see another "consolized" version of a game franchise I once cherished. I'll just wait for a spiritual successor if so. The list of games I've enjoyed as much as SoC and CoP is entirely too short, and many of the games
Figures. I got mine on Impulse last year when they had a sale for both Reunion and Terran Conflict....
Open up Impulse and get your CD key for Terran Conflict, then enter it into steam. It should register just fine. Reunion won't, but TC should. There's been lots of people on Egosoft's forums saying so. Now enjoy your loyalty discount. If you own the Superbox on Steam then this expansio
Well, for playing an "easier" online format, you can try playing in the most common hours for busy gamers. People who work 9-5 jobs, go to school, and (sadly) the children who populate most online games, are more likely to play on the weekends or peak hours of the day. Those are generally the less skilled players, and easier to dominate. Players like me who are used to being up all night writing grad papers, and who play in the intermediate hours of the day and night are more likely to
That video is of the PC version of Skyrim, the controls have just been modified to work with voice/motion gestures. It's a neat demonstration, but I guess I'm just to old school to appreciate fully motion captured games. Getting up and jumping around isn't what I want to do 90% of the time I feel like playing a game.
It's a Steamworks game, so *all* PC sales are "on Steam". No need to inflate the numbers; whatever number Steam says are playing are it.
PC Skyrim sales were around the 14% only counting retail copies. That puts PC sales at a bit over 450,000 copies before any digital only sales are brought into the picture. I doubt digital sales would double that number, and admittedly it's no
I would venture a guess that it has a bit to do with the physical stability of the drive. Movement and jostling is bad for the mechanical disk drives; not being securely held in place does not mean they will fail, but it is definitely a concern.

The mentally challenged and family friendly plot of WoW has basically destroyed any hope of another good Warcraft game ever coming out. In the Warcraft II manual there was a picture of a dragon eating a naked chick, and of big dumb looking orcs carrying severed bleeding heads....
This sums up my disappointment in Blizzard quite nicely. They went from m
Anyone have a hands on of the CM Storm Trooper? I don't like that the disk fans are attached the the drive cage, but I understand why they did it that way. It looks like just as good of a case as the HAF X, isn't quite as ugly, and seems modular enough for whatever I feel like tinkering with for future upgrades.
Thank you all for the responses. Due to the (expected) wildly varied opinions, I am unfortunately more adrift than when I started though. [e digicons][/e] However, after some more ground work and research, I have narrowed down my search; so unless someone can throw a better bone I'll most likely be getting the HAF 932 or X. Both are full tower's, have decent air flow, and have room for cable management. I don't like the look of it,
It's about time to buy a new PC and rotate my older ones down the line. I've been keeping track of the pertinent hardware on my list, but I've come to realize that I don't know much about the plethora of computer cases anymore. I've been reusing older ones for the past several years, and the Antec case I'm currently using was a gift from my Wife. This case (and it's components) are going to replace the DVR/Entertainment System in the upstairs d
World of Diablocraft can be a FPS debauchery. Diablo 3 is already looking to be terrible enough.

It is just another program I have to install to run a game. I don't need a program from every developer. So it's a new Stardock Central? Again? Well, at least I can close my Impulse account since I only have Stardock games on it anyway. Not having an extra bloat-ware program running in the background, no matter how invisible, would still be preferable though.
I agree that if the game is made correctly, it could still be worth buying. It could still be a very similar game, just with a much lower camera. However, I hold very little hope that it won't just be another bland FPS set in a world that many of us used to enjoy, but then again I'm still bitter over the gritty FPS reboot of Front Mission to believe in most game developers anymore.
Let me put it another way, in 2012, if you want to play a modern PC, turn-based fantasy strategy game. Fallen Enchantress better be the #1 choice, by far, or we failed. I would laugh if any of my friends bought this, and not in a good way. I'll stick to my G11 keyboards. They're sturdy, respond very well, and can do everything I'd ever want a keyboard to do, except be self cleaning.

Well, I'm not an expert, especially on laptop gaming, but here's my two cents. We can't compare the MSI to the amd processor laptop because we can't compare the specs, so there's no way to know what's best. Generally speaking, Intel makes better processors, but AMD processors offer a lot of bang for the buck, so at the low/mid price range, you may be better off going with an AMD. MSI is an okay brand from my experience. They're about standard on bui
