I was unable to locate that file. I'm running a vista machine and couldn't even locate the appdata directory.

Well, you're totally no help then, are you?
Is anyone else running into a problem wherein you run diplomacy, set all your options such as video res, textures, sound etc and it not saving... so EVERY time you load up diplomacy you have to change your resolution, texture settings, etc? Because I am. Its annoying. Original Sins keeps the settings the way I have selected them, what is wrong with diplomacy?
