So, finally got word statement from support: quote ObjectDock isn't Vista ready. The current new build is for XP alone. Vista is still in its beta build. unquote So much about advertising ODP as Vista compatible. Moreover they seems to be far behind actual developments, about Vista being still in beta and all. I am dissappointed about false advertisements and a support treating their customers as dumb.

@zubatz maybe we do interpret language in different ways. Not that your comment was of any help in solving this issue in the first place. Do you consider this quality community support by pointing to the refund url? lol I have neither been using rude wording nor anything insulting, just stating facts about A) compatibilty issues and B) a non responsive stardock support. If that hard facts are too much to take for your soul, then I should sincerely appologize. This howe

u know, I do u guys a favour, bcoz I am sort of beta testing ODP on Vista right now (and even paid for it), that when u r ready to move onto Vista ODP perhaps will be 2. so much about the smart ass comments. at least Neils seems to have gotten the point

@bichur, yes got autoreply and yes followd up ------- @kilokrash, vista is not beta anymore. and as sales argument vista compatibility is being claimed by stardock. so, I have the right to be disappointed by a lie, as simple as that. moreover I am not bitching or cursing here, my tongue is still moderate, but then again I have a right to express my point of view, also in the interest of prospective OPD buyers. I do not see the point of filing bugs and/or support reques

right on, that is exactly not working for me... even all the conditions are set, I still need to click on the tabs to be the active. seems to me like another flaw in ODP's claimed Win Vista compatibility like the empty systray... btw, why the heck it is impossible to start another paragraph by hitting enter in this message window when being in Stardock Central, though it works in any other browser? <

appreciate your input and although I had this said checkbox checked I am sort of confused now - what are "autohidden tabbed docks"? I mean my tabbed dock is hidden unless I hit the defined hotspot, in which case it would show up. But what I was actually referring to is not the dock, I meant the tab on the dock, to make a tab on the dock active on mouseover. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/sd/

Ehm, I do not how this is happening, but strangely missing the "allow colours" checkbox within the tab's appearance. if there would here I could post a screen, but there isn't... anyways, ideas?

thanks for the suggestions, but as I mentioned earlier I have them all and nothing worked... Another thing though, I do not like SDC and do not see the necessity to have it installed just to get ODP going, which is not mentioned as a system requirement either. Still I also tried it with SDC and MCP, but unseccful. I feel like the statement of ODP being Vista compatible being a bit premature, considering the bugs still to be ironed out.

Hi, been through the forum, but not of the stated suggestions worked... ...tried them all I am on vista rtm (maiden/clean install) and altough compatibilty is claimed I start wondering whether that is really the case. Anybody else having the same issue in this regard, any solution to it? Btw, the machine is dual core intel centrino, Mobile Intel(R) 945PM Express Chipset, Memory Controller 82945PM, I/O Controller Intel(R) 82801GHM I/O controller hub (ICH7MDH),
