I'm having minidump problems as well, although mine doesn't seem to be time related. Played for about an hour last night with no problems, but then some lag and a minidump about 40 minutes in continuing the same game today. You can send your minidump files to [email protected] Other than the minidump, I like the new beta! Great work! I do kinda miss the old cobalt voices though! [e digicons];P[/e]

Fantastic! Thanks![e digicons][/e]
Hey Stardock/Ironclad! I was playing a LAN game today with my friend against two computer players, and into about an hour of playing, we got the minidump error at the same time. We had already been playing this game for about 2hrs over the last couple days, but it decided to crash today for some reason. (Maybe because we have so much more stuff?) Just thought I'd let you know! Btw, great job on the patch otherwise! I really like Entrenchment now and I think its one of
I found a couple of odd bugs while playing Sins yesterday. For some odd reason, the TEC Ship whith the orange lasers and the experimental sheild abiltiy, sorry, I forgot the name, shoots astroids instead of its usual small, metal slug when ugraded. Take a look: Also, the Vasari colonizer looks like its starbase builder now.[e digicons];P[/e] &
I was wondering that as well. (The grav wells) Also, it seems to be easier to make money now. Anyone else notice that or is it just me?
Hey there Stardock and fellow space captains![e digicons][/e] I got Entrenchment up and running today, no problems for me, and I think you guys did an awesome job! All the new ships/techs/structures/and graphical improvements really add depth to the game, and as a person who has played Sins quite a bit, I think they were all well implemented. I did encounter a few bugs however: -Main Menu Music: Not a bug, but I personally preferred the old mu
Hey there! First off, I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this in, so feel free to move my post if needed! :) Now as for my problem, I cannot remember if this happened in other versions of the game, I have the latest patch, or if this is a new change, but I find it to be very annoying. Each race has an ability of some sort that prevents an enemy ship from moving or attacking, one that is most commonly used on capital ships for good reason. The problem I'm havi
Awesome! Thanks!
Hey there! I was recently playing a LAN game with my brother and we decided to use a different map very early on. He quit first and I got the message saying I won, however I also unlocked some of the more difficult achievements such as winning without building any tactical structures. I would prefer to achieve these for real and was wondering if there was any way I could undo my achievements without losing all of them. Thanks for the help!
Hi there! I started up a game of Sins a few days ago and was surprised when a message poped-up after loading that said the save game did not match the verson of the game I was currently using. This was odd because I hadn't update Sins since the v1.096 patch. I hit ok and my game loaded anyway, so I continued to conqure the universe. :) Today however, when I tried to load my game I got a message that says: MiniDump - Saved MiniDump: C:\Users\Trevor\App
Ah, ok! Thanks for pointing those things out! As for the damage, it just seems like it rises more slowly on the infocard than the speed at which it's getting hit. I know this was also true before the BETA, but now it seems to be updating even more slowly. It also seems like it takes longer to defeat things in general now, although I could be mistaken about that.
Hi there! I just finished playing the new BETA as TEC on a medium random map and I have noticed a few minor issues that I thought I would post. I'd first like to say, however that I am greatly impressed with the BETA! I love the new textures and the new look of the interface! I easily adapted to the changes and think you deserve a round of applause! :CONGRAT: Ok, here are the few issues I found: -When I colonize a planet/asteriod, I get the message
Thanks for the info! :D
I know it would be next to impossible to add a whole new dimension to the game this far along, but I've always liked the idea of being able to raid other players ships. I realize that this would apply primarily to capital ships, but I still think it could add some interesting new strategies to the game. You would have to build special transport crusiers that carriered large boarding partys, but were not very heavily armed. They could have the ability
I was wondering, where are the screenshots that I have taken located on Vista? They don't seem to be anywhere obvious so I hope I'm not missing anything! :p Also, can you watch your Sins videos out of game? If so, where are they located? Thanks!
Ah, ok thanks! :CONGRAT:
Awesome! I was hoping they didn't get rid of it! :D Btw, why is the fourth ability of most capital ships always grayed out? Do they need to reach a certain level before I can spend a level-up point on it?
I remember hearing a while back about a ship that could suck the population and structures off a planet. I think I saw a picture of it at one point. The beam looked like a giant green abduction ray/tornado and the ship using it was pretty large as well. I haven't researched everything in the game yet, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Is it still in the game?
I use Gamespot a lot and think that would be a great place to promote the game!
Ah ok. Thanks for clearing that up!
I have a question. The TEC Cobalt Light Frigate's description box says: "A workhorse combat frigate that can be upgraded to efficiently defeat other ships with abilities." I don't, however see an option on it's control panel to spend experience points. Is the description referring to technologies that can be researched that make the ship more powerful? Or am I missing something? :p
Anyone?
Is my download bugged, or has the launch widgit for Sins just not been relased yet? When I click on the icons for the GalCiv games I get a cool pop-up window that has options like: Play Game, Manual, Update Game, Etc. I saw a picture of Sin's window online a few weeks before it came out, but it doesn't pop-up for me. Is this normal? And thanks again Stardock and Ironclad for creating one of the best games I have ever played! :D
First of all...YOUR GAME ROCKS!!!!! :CONGRAT: Ok, now that I got that out of my system, I just have one quick question: In a beta video I watched, the player was able to hide the HUD and all of the icons so it looked like you were watching a movie. I found the cinematic mode button, but can't figure out how to hide the HUD. Is there a special button combination I need to use? Thanks!
Ah, ok cool! Keep up the great work! You guys have been swamped this morning! I have to finish my school work before I can start playing, and it's driving me crazy LOL!
