This game looks pretty neat, kinda like a cross between EVE Online and Sins of a Solar empire from the information they had on their old site. They (apparently) just switched site locations so there's not much up, but from what i've been able to find online, it looks like a pretty awesome game. www.aogame.net

w40k, yes, i've been playing it too much lately it seems, so i applied the games fantasy to the problem of continuing hegemonies, oh well too late to answer to anything else, but btw, you're wrong about China, please don't talk about what you don't know.

space is not an issue, its the resources. if you have eternal life you will have more and more people on your hands than any number of planets could support. that is a physical impossibility how about you meditate on the logistics of your strategy? hm? no no, the average person would die, i just meant one leader, because the main problem of a successful dicatatorship is continually finding a capable ruler. cold war requ

Heres a comparison of Hong Kongs economic freedom http://www.heritage.org/research/features/index/country.cfm?id=HongKong Heres a comparison of Singapores economic freedom http://www.heritage.org/research/features/index/country.cfm?id=Singapore and finally the US http://www.heritage.org/research/features/index/country.cfm?id=Unitedstates Both of them have higher 'freedom from the government' and lower tax rates. and thats why we should manipulate and exploit them. it makes their lives easier anyhow. ha, Amen brother, spread the word there are plenty of ways to make sucessful heirarchies, you put the stupid people as exploited at the bottom, you have progressive levels of smarter managers, and all radicals get excluded. se

it takes years for empires to fall. they dont collapse, they crumble. of course, then follows a recessional period of several hundred years, and then as soon as the crazy radicals (the church, the roman politicians, the emps) leave, things return to another not-so-golden age. True, I see this in our future (hell it has already started in some ways, we have too much competition in the world, things arn't looking good for US (haha) economicaly), but it's st

look at how we argue taht we should get out of Iraq, not for "our" safety, but for the safety of our troops "over there". nobody in this country is truly afraid of foreign military jack. a little worried, but not afraid. I think you should look back to soviet times, see what happened then and as about the "finally" part. people are stupid, Leaving Iraq is idiotic for numerous reasons, unfortunately because this is a democracy, all those idiotic hippies are an

you overstate the level of people "being brainwashed" (how about those government tracking devices in your cereal!). I still think there is too much corporate blah blah blah, but its naive to say that they run everything. you just have to put in 1/2 a second to realize what is complete bull and ignore it. well i think you misunderestimate (Bush quote, and no, i'm not a "Bush Hater") the stupidity of the population, the majority are unable or unwillin

reasons why Democracy doesn't work. Yea, someone who understands I will always remain that one person in a thousand that actually tries to do something when things go wrong. And in my mind, I will hope that many others wil adopt a more carefree, giving attitude and

This country was founded on that ideal, but as things stand now, no, this country is currently controlled by a hegemony, powerful corporations and powerful familys drive it, look at the founding of the CIA. there is certainly a heirarchy to it, but fortunately its a thousand-piered heirarchy with branches growing and falling daily. this means that there is opportunity for those with the skill and yes, the drive, to take it.

But those who care, would then actual send a message to those that are currently being brainwashed by the media. i'm not sure how to argue against that, but you're wrong it's against human nature, the reason you're wrong, is because your fundamental beliefs about People are wrong (IMHO) the people being brainwashed (the ones you are talking about a

You're not gonna fina a country in the world that tells its citizens everything, and that genuinely saddens me, it doesn't seem anyone is comitted to a true democracy. The end of the video creeped me out though, internet army? Viva la revolution! the definition of democracy is... "1. government by the people..." a true democracy can never work, http://library.thinkquest.org/C0121653/bell.h3.jpg that is a picture

Intelligence is nothing, skill is what makes the world what it truely is. You can be the smartest person in the world, but if you dont have charisma then all you do will be for naught. I would have to beg to differ there, DRIVE is what makes or breaks someone, obviously skill and intelligence as well as charisma are important, but as long as the sum of these qualities within you is > than average (how do we define average?) and you are willing
