Distant Stars is awesome. I honestly can't go back to Vanilla Sins after playing a few multiplayer matches with it. Great job. edit: whoops. this one is OLD. Sorry about the bump.

I'm a man with very simple requests: Maybe a couple more star/nebula backgrounds when you zoom into a star? Some more artifacts would be nice too.
The music files are in .ogg format, but you need a specific codec to be able to play them. For future reference: You are not allowed to bump your posts.
Coming from a singleplayer perspective: I agree with the Cpt_Siddy. I don't think there should be that many drastic changes as he mentions, but they really do feel like glorified turrets. Their role as defense is no where near as Ironclad was advertising, and building one seems inconsequential for either TEC or Advent. There really needs to be some higher range and/or slow movement attached to them because what other users are mentioning here are the exception to the rule (case by case studie
Agreed. After playing a TEC game I felt that the starbase was just a glorified version of the turret from the original game. Enemy ships ships were just able to go around it and avoid any damage. It should either have pretty long range or be able to move around the gravity well slowly. I like the Vasari death-star Starbase, though. I hope they keep the phasing in for that.
edit: ^^^doh. looks like i'm not alone in this.^^^ I'm getting an error while starting trying to run it. It installed fine, but when it gives me an "Entry Point Not Found" error with "The procedure entry point _FSOUND_GetNumHWChannels@12 could not be located in the dynamic link libary fmod.dll."
