Without you, psychoak, there would be no one left to argue against every scientist that isn't already being paid off by special interests representing heavy industry. A hearty thank you!

Addons I'd add to the list provided by Bebi Bulma include: [link="https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/722"]NoScript[/link] - sort of does to undesired java, flash, silverlight, et al., what AdBlock Plus does to 3rd party site ads. This is going to be a truly boring read, but it was fun to recall all the different computers I've had... so I'll write it anyway :) The first computer that I owned, a 486 DX-2/50mhz Dell running DOS 5.x and Windows 3.1, was named WOPR (from the movie "War Games"). I may have had the same issue. My DVD had many zero-byte long files -- and those were the ones that came up with a message indicating the file was not found. (Click "Ignore" when prompted to Retry/Ignore/Cancel and it'll skip the file, until it finds another zero-byte sized file). I copied the entire folders and files over to a folder on my hard disk, then ran the installation from the hard disk (ran setup.exe). Copying to HD appears to avoid the error messages about those zero-byte
