Is it possible that because skinning has become more mainstream there are more people who have no clue how to create skins take the work for granted? For me the 'community' skinning pleasure got lost when WC stopped to bounce 'bad' submissions. I remember when starting out I was so happy when one of my skins got accepted and there was a lot of good critisism on it making me push harder to improve. I have stopped uploading skins for 2 years or something

3d rendered explanation movie of the working of a network (cisco?) in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

Hey guys, A couple years ago there was a movie created, I believe by sisco. Most people who work with computers for a living have seen this movie. The movie is a 3d rendered movie created to explain the working of a network. I believe this movie was created by sisco but I am not sure. In the movie you see little 'packages' going over a network as 'trucks'. I have seen this movie but want to show it to some friends but have no clue

Always nice to see a new trend everytime a movie comes out... Hackers for example... same happends with all the pre-packed sub cultures from movies like blade (1,2 and 3 )

Find it funny how easy people say "I want" like its the most logical thing that people will just do anything that they say "as they are here because they like skinning anyway". Ofcourse it could also be a typo... People don't often take requests as: 1: It most of the time isn't fun as most of the skinners like to create stuff theirself 2: It most often aren't the most fun jobs (example: coding, re-coloring, etc)

IP blockin in WinCustomize Talk JoeUser Forums

Ok so this is the deal: when I checked my server I saw this ip that just kept sending pings to my root directory. This only happends once in a while and then I can block them trough apache but I was wondering if there is a simple program where you only have to add the ip to denie further acces. thanks.
