How bout a campaign in one map? A one-game campaign. I think it might be a little hard for IC though.

Phase lane traps. Like a little fleet waiting in the middle of a phase lane. And some kind of unit that prevents phase jumps until destroyed (Interdictor cruiser for Star Wars anyone?)
