Anyone getting the mini-dump errors need to send the file to Ironclad, not Stardock. [email protected]
The message your getting means that Impulse is having trouble connecting to our servers. This can be caused by extra 'security' apps, like SpyBot, AdAware and the like. Even some anti-virus applications can have their own 'spybot' functions, and Firewall settings. Check your system (SysTray) for any of these 'watcher' type programs and try to turn them off, then launch Impulse, and watch the bottom left of the window, when it is done connecting, you won't see any
All mini-dump errors are to be sent to IronClad directly at [email protected] Include the dump file that gets created. also, you should search the Forum before posting as this has already been address.
I wager that the Firewall is not helping, also check for any 'extra' security apps running in the background.
Send the Mini-dump files to [email protected] IronClad has asked us to direct these type of errors to them.
You need to use Internet Explorer to access the batch file. Copy & paste this link in Internet Explorer (not FF or any other browser) and click the 'Go' button, or hit Enter: http://sd.stardock.com/mike/apps/enumerate_startup.bat A Run/Save dialog will appear, hit Run and then a DOS window will appear asking you to hit enter, doing so should then create alog file on your Desktop, open it and copy/paste the info into your support Ticket and send to us. &n

Orodum, Right-click on the exe and try 'Run as Admin'
You should just use your Stardock Nickname & Password for the ICO site, I've checked and you do not have the @ symbol in either your Nick or PW.
Send any Minidump files to [email protected]
I suggest you uninstall Impulse, reboot your PC, then re-install from here; http://storage.stardock.com/files/Impulse_setup_full.exe Make sure you don't have any extra 'security' apps, like SpyBot, AdAware and the like. That may well help Kryo, it's worked for others. Any new updates are only being published to Impulse, not SDC anymore. If you do open SDC, do not allow it to update your games, therein lies trouble.
Checked your account, there was no PW in it, strange... Anyway, gave you a password, and have e-mailed it to you.
"And for Forgiven, and any interested, the reason for the 6 (plus one) days of creation ? It is a picture of the history of man. Days are prophetically related to thousands of years. It has been approximately 6000 years since creation, which will be followed by the 1000 years ruled by the Price of Peace. (the day of rest)." So... the Earth is only 6000 years old? You really believe that?
Mag1KaL, Gotta agree with you on that, bunk, pure bunk.
The First Rule of support is, when you hear nothing... things are going good. The Second Rule is... no poofters. The Third Rule is... the is no third rule. (Rinse and repeat as needed).
Also, make sure that you have applied the update to the copy installed at your friends house.
I Farquhar, Send an e-mail to us at [email protected]
We at Stardock are not sure what is the cause of the shutting down and memory not being cleared. Unfortunately, as we are not the Dev's of this game there is not much we can do testing wise. It is most likely some application, or system file that is not closing correctly. Try e-mailing IronClad directly at [email protected], and perhaps they will have a solution, or at least be made aware of this issue.
Quinburger, If your still having issues sending the pics, send them to me at [email protected], as well.
elsupremo, I can not find your e-mail to support, can you resend to me directly? [email protected], include the serial number you have now.
