I ran into the same cituation last night. I had to uninstall WB6 / WB7Beta just to install my W7 update.
Pic of MS 7 is here http://news.softpedia.com/newsImage/Windows-7-Milestone-1-M1-Ultimate-Build-6-1-6519-1-4.png. Release is scheduled for 2010
I am so happy I never installed my free Vista upgrade. My XP is so much better. BTW MS is working on its next OS, since Windoes 6 (Vista) has been such a bomb. Read about Windows 7 [link="http://news.softpedia.com/news/Windows-7-Milestone-1-M1-Ultimate-Build-6-1-6519-1-78871.shtml"]WWW Link[/link]
Anything with strings is not "free". :)
Anyone remember DOS? Does Commodore 64 ring a bell? How about pin fed printers - loved those paper snares with the cheap paper? :D Shoot, I remember my first Red LED TI Calculator. We thought the calc was cool when we could type 14, turn the calculator upside down and it would say HI The fact is... most human beings resist change. Also, most children except change far better than adults. :) Each to their own, in their own time. There are real concerns with a new OS. Po
Do not upgrade over v5. Uninstall it all and do a clean reinstall.
Lovely. A tad bright for me, but very clean and streamlined. :)
I did get this resolved. I had WB v5 on my PC and upgraded to v6. I think this created a conflict. I uninstalled everything, and just installed v6. This fixed everything. :)
I went back and set everything to default and resized the fonts to normal... but still no joy... :(
96 Normal. But I did increase font size by 60% in the WB control panel.
Oops, too many pics and I see no edit button... *blushes* :)
I recently upgraded to WB 6. I set up my options and applied the skin. However, I am now missing my OK, Apply and Cancel dialog buttons. Here is a screenshot: I have tried other skins, and have also unloaded WB all together (not uninstalled). I have also Googled everything I could think of.... Please any gurus out there who can help a girl?[img]http://img249.imageshack.us/img249/2396/image1cw3.jpg[/i
I think Linux is a viable option for low cost, entry level, PCs. Not having to buy a commercial OS would certainly crop the cost a bit. Windows rules the OS market, so I would select one that has a similar layout. There are really quite a few stable, attractive Linux operating systems out there these days. I think they need to use a similar OS so that users will not go nuts when they see, or need to work with Windows. I would hope they could bundle it with wine so that use
Here is mine. I love the Christmas Snow gadget. :)
Worse yet.... there are no dreams for XP
There are some skins that do this, make sure you are using a skin that does not use dark menus...
So. I own 5.5 and objext desktop. Does that mean I can download the beta now and get the full release when it comes out? Thanks *I really think you need better smilies...
I am having the same problem....
It absolutely depends on the site. Obviously the billing department at WC has my actual details, as I do business here. The same thing goes for other sites that must have accurate personal information. However, I do use the internet alot, so in most instances I will not give out personal information. In these days of internet exploitation, it is not really a safe practice. As a matter of fact I stear clear of sites that MAKE you enter such things as name, telephone, address,
I personally like it. The burn has no effect on the longevity of the disc, so you can relax there. In one area major area it beats a Sharpie... a dark Sharpie can end up being "seen" by your DVD player and read as an error. Over time the ink can actually penetrate the media. The lightscribe burn is exempt from that problem. I get mine off eba
"the default axiom application resource environment cannot be found" To avoid that problem, uninstall the program, make sure all your browser windows are CLOSED. Install it. Then you can use your borwsers again. Open browsers use a resource that Bryce needs to complete the install. I found that with a simple Google search! If you want to learn Bryce, Google for what you want to learn. Google "Close Bryce" Here is a wonderful site that rolls
