Sir Grave Keeper,
Well at least give a option for the people with decent comps for rotating turrets.
It can't be made an option at all, regardless of whether the decent comp people want it or not. The only way to implement it would be all or nothing, and the all option isn't good for the lower end comps. The point is by making it an option serious system desyncs would occur in multiplayer games, regardless of the participants. It cannot be made an option, not beca

Oh I didn't - and I think it applies to us all :) Thanks for the input... good to know I'm not alone :P
That's not very nice :P
Nah, I was just wondering. Thanks anyway.
Quote button? *looks around* Ah, THAT quote button! Dammit, I'm a moron... first typos then lack of observational skills. Thanks for that.
That was a most shocking typo, RON. I apologize :P Yes, that's what I thought you meant - oh good! I suppose #3 was me ranting on my own, something of which I should be very careful. So you're saying that any option to the effect of adding turret movement with firing dependent on that movement would inevitably lead to horrendous desyncs... Thanks :) On a final note, I seek vindication in the fact that the "B" key is right next to the "N" key... but I still apologize :P
Is it possible to buy the special edition in store, rather than ordering it online?
Really? How, then, would one be able to flank without micro-ing? Your statement suggests that the only way anyone can ever flank, or act tactically for that matter, would be through an unfavourable amount of micro. I've never liked micro, but your statement sort of takes tactics (and on the grander scale, strategy) out of the game... No offence meant :) Furthermore, I'd like to find out how to quote :P
...though it seems that my point is now a bit outdated... Excuse me :P
I think what people are missing about Ron's point is this: 1) If you want to have turrets move, then the firing sequence must be delayed (for example) until the turret lines up with its target. 2) This makes a real effect on the way a ship might fire. It will then have to wait until its turrets are lined up, and only then shoot. 3) Obviously, this means that every ship must have this effect applied, or else there would be an exploit allowing the player to zoom in on the enemy sh
True true! Yes indeed; a good idea. Thanks for that :) And indeed, for Craig's answer too.
Hi guys; Very recently I read a post on here concerning ETA's on movement orders, similar to the Supreme Commander setup. I was wondering whether it would be possible in an update (as it is probably to hard to do so close to the release date, but I wouldn't know)to add the co-ordinated attack idea, wherein one can order two different groups to attack the same target and arrive at the same time. However, I found that in Supreme Commander it was difficult to use this function to attack, sa
Hi guys; A simple question; though my fairly new laptop could run this game (3gig ram, 8600M GT, 2.2 centrino duo...) at rec. quite easily, i take it my desktop with specs 512Ram, 2.8gig P4, and Radeon 9600 wouldn't be able to run much higher that minimum graphics? Or would it stall even at those low levels? I've come to be a bit wary of system spec requirements lately, that's all :P Thanks for the input, guys... Btw, I'm pleased to see so many people on here spell "definitely"
