I think the idea that system maps are 2d and then the stars relative to each other is 3d, and kosc. Since Sins (no pun intended) only includes(as of now) max 10 systems i don't think it would be a problem. Sots had the possibility to play with literally hundreds of system. And i didn't find the Sots system confusing, you just had to get used to it.

I would like to see an increase in radio chatter, think "locking on target", "requesting docking permission". Not only when clicking on or ordering a unit. Naturally you cant have all your units radio but, I was thinking when zooming in on units, that on a certain zoom level, you would hear more radio chatter, not only the usual but maybe also more mundane things like hmm... i dont know flag orders to units around it, and trade ships/fighters/bombers docking etc. Thoughts?

Yes and to add to this idea i think that attack craft should have a limited supply of fuel/ammo/whatnot so that they have to return to carriers/hangars and resupply.

Actually as far as I now and have seen its just the fighter icon that goes through, if you follow the fighters individually you notice that they travel around it. *edit* spelling

I don't know if i'll add something but i agree with earlier writers, it would've made more sense, making the current planets into solarsystems, extending the gravity well and reducing the number of planets per system. And after this make the current solar systems into galaxies. Just my 2 cents.

I'm sorry if this has been discussed earlier, but i think that subsystems for the capital ships and maybe even the frigates would be a nice addition, to add some more tactical depth to the game. I'm thinking damageable engines, weapons, launch bays and so on... Yes? no? ps. and then maybe add boarding action into the game?
